He’s already responsible for the most expensive basketball sneaker ever released and will soon push the market to unprecedented territory with a $300+ signature model, but LeBron James has shown up exclusively in one of his secondary models during a celebratory tour of China. The two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, reigning NBA Champion and three-time MVP (all those summer of 2010 and ’11 doubts start to sound a little silly when you read that this August, no?) is apparently quite fond of the Nike Air Max Ambassador 5, and the black/red colorway in particular. Now that the cat’s out of the bag you’d think LeBron James would be going around everywhere showing off the upcoming Nike LeBron X on feet right? Well not exactly, as there are a few peripheral models in the Nike LeBron line that will get some burn for the summer before he switches over. As is generally the case when either him or Kobe head across the Pacific for an Asian tour, LeBron has laced up in an Asia exclusive pair; the forthcoming Nike Air Max Ambassador V. We already got you acclimated with what to expect from the Nike Air Max Ambassador V a couple days back in our sneak peek at the Spring 2013 lineup from Nike Basketball, and we’re back already with some catalog scans giving us a more clear and objective look at what the future holds. Among the colorways that are yet to come is this sort of ‘Floridians’ styled pair, echoing the pink and orange pairing albeit with a black base to tone the energy down quite a bit.
