What will become of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite? The shoe has already become an outlet special, perhaps leading Nike to pull back a considerable bit on the retail releases. They might not be completely over though, as this Nike Air Max Hyperposite promises possible light at the end of the tunnel. The combination is that of minty green and a little bit of red, all boosted by some 3M graphics on the Hyperfuse part of the upper. Continue reading to see more on the sneaker and let us know if you’re hoping that they make it to shelves at a store near you one day in the future.

Nike Hyperposite – Mint – Grey – Red

Looks like the Nike Air Max Hyperposite isn’t done yet, because this Mint/Grey/Red colorway appears to be on the way to retail shelves in Asia this July. The mint tone seems to be a popular one with this model, with the “Statue of Liberty” colorway – arguably the best of the Hyperposites – being such a huge hit and the “Christmas” PE that Rondo wore being one of the better PEs in recent memory, but this upcoming version adds in a grey and red detailed graphic on the upper for a pretty clean colorway that has a very “Christmas” like vibe to it. Of course, it is unlikely there is a Christmas connection given the July release, but it certainly reminds us of the one that Rondo wore months back! We’ve got a detailed gallery below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on a release.

Nike Hyperposite “Area 72″ PE

Although there was a released version of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite “Area 72″, there’s no doubt that the PE made for Western Conference All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge was far better! The dark upper exudes that deep space landscape with hints of the Area 72 graphics lining the collar of the shoe, with a sick planet-surface style of Swoosh detailing on the heel and toe. These are definitely one of the highlights of the 2013 All-Star Game footwear, so check out an additional shot of the shoes and LaMarcus wearing them in-game, and let us know if you think more Hyperposite colorways should hit stores.

Nike Hyperposite – Rudy Gay Grizzlies PE

It seems that the Nike Air Max Hyperposite has been shelved for good, with the sudden “Area 72″ version being the last known release of this underrated silhouette. One of the big topics of our NBA Feet retrospective feature was the sea of Hyperposite PEs that touched the hardwood floor, and today we’re getting a nice look at a sweet “Iridescent” version that Rudy Gay wore during his time with the Grizzlies. With the “Invisibility Cloak”-like exterior and a Memphis yellow outsole, there’s no doubt that this version would’ve been as popular as the more notable ones to have released, but as mentioned before, the Hyperposite appears to be a done deal for now. We’ve got a nice high-def gallery below so give it a look and let us know if you’d like to see more Hyperposites hit retail.

The Nike Air Max Hyperposite has been just a little quiet as of late, as models like the Nike Barkley Posite Max seem to have taken over the new-Nike Foamposite model spotlight for the moment. That’s not the say that the sneaker is done for though-as we’ve got a preview of a pair that should be arriving for late 2013. The sneaker shown is a Nike Air Max Hyperposite equipped with a wintery set of blues and some laces that go up and beyond the normal fare. See the full preview of this style after the jump and check back with us for more info on the upcoming release.

Right at the last minute a Nike Air Max Hyperposite has joined the ‘Area 72′ group that Nike whipped up this year for the 2013 NBA All-Star. The midsole features a pretty similar look to that found on the Nike LeBron X ‘All Star’, but the upper couldn’t be any more different in terms of colors. Spotted there is a mixture of crimson and citrus peeking in through the crackled graphics. Check out the Nike Air Max Hyperposite ‘All Star’ after the jump, which is actually up for grabs right now from id4shoes on eBay.
