Nike Air Max Hyperposite “Camo” – Teaser

September 3rd, 2012 by | 7 comments

nike air max hyperposite camo teaser 1 Nike Air Max Hyperposite Camo Teaser

The Nike Air Max Hyperposite was an exciting design from the get go, molding the separate Nike technologies of Foamposite and Air Max into one cohesive build. With that being said we’ve gotta admit that the sneaker got a whole lot more exciting when the graphically inclined looks started to pop up, a group so far consisting of two NYC tributes. Next to rear its head is this, a version of the Nike Hyperposite sporting a dark olive colorup and some intense camo sectioning on the part of the upper flanking the lace placket. Hit the jump for the rest of the teaser and drop us a line in the comments below if you feel like this camouflage pair will further push up the pedigree of the all new Nike Air Max Hyperposite.

Nike Air Max Hyperposite “Dynamic Blue” – Arriving at Retailers

nike air max hyperposite dynamic blue arriving at retailers 1 Nike Air Max Hyperposite Dynamic Blue Arriving at Retailers

There’s no shame in deferring to the GOAT, especially when you’ve got plenty of game yourself.  The Nike Air Max Hyperposite debut last Saturday was thinned to a single colorway from the originally slated three, presumably to make room for the ‘Golden Moments’ Pack that might be the biggest Air Jordan release all year.  So instead of a mid-August release, we’re looking forward to early September for the ‘Dynamic Blue’ Hyperposite, a Fireberry-accented high-energy colorway that served as the posterchild for this new Hyperfuse-meets-Foamposite b-ball banger during its early preview stages.  They’ll be arriving at retailers like Concepts on Saturday, September 8th, and we have a new round of photos to share with you after the jump below.

After unveiling the Nike Air Max Hyperposite ‘Statue of Liberty’ last Thursday, Sneaker News brings you an exclusive look at this hot release, currently set for a November drop. These special edition shoes were worn during yesterday’s Championship game of the Battle of the Boroughs held in New York City’s Nike Rivington Court, during which the Brooklyn squad eked out a win in a nail-biter against the Harlem Squad. The Hyperposites feature a cool mint green upper with hints of brown ‘rust’ copper on the Swoosh and smeared on the Hyperfuse panels to emanate the NYC statue’s appeal, completing the NYC-centric theme of the past weekend’s tournament. The flipside to the ‘Statue of Liberty’ colorway of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite is this ‘NYC’-specific mix of orange and royal blue with an ‘all-over’ NYC print on the Hyperfuse panels on the upper. This colorway was worn opposite the ‘Statue of Liberty’ colorway by the Harlem squad in Sunday afternoon’s Championship Game of the Battle of the Boroughs at Nike’s Rivington Court in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. No confirmed release has been set, but for now, check out these exclusive images of the Nike Hyperposite ‘NYC’ here on Sneaker News and stay tuned for potential release information!

Nike Air Max Hyperposite – Black – Navy – Light Blue

So Nike Basketball decided to push two of the three presumed debut Air Max Hyperposite colorways back to avoid a conflict with the Air Jordan ‘Golden Moments’ Pack (the third, released pair itself a Chicago-style indirect homage to His Airness).  Don’t look for that delay as a sign of things to come, though, as this new Nike Air Max Hyperposite joins the growing collection that figures to play a major role in the upcoming roundball season.  This new midnight black/blue ensemble is shown off by Mayor (presumably a shot straight from his iPhone), another colorup with MJ connections whose dark Tar Heel good looks are bound to make a lasting impression.  The only question is, when will these arrive at retailers, so stick with Sneaker News for the answer and check out more below in the meantime.

crimson hyperposites Nike Air Max Hyperposite Bright Crimson Release Reminder

The Nike Air Foamposite One was an amazing shoe – we already know that. But throw in fifteen years worth of Nike Basketball engineering and technology and you have a shoe far superior in performance. So why the doubt around the Nike Air Max Hyperposite? It combines the visual appeal of a Foamposite shell with the right placement of Hyperfuse technology, all on top of a 360 Max Air unit (one that provided a surge for the Nike LeBron line beginning with the VII). Tomorrow, the Hyperposite makes its debut in the Black/Bright Crimson colorway, so let us know if you think of the shoe’s performance potential as we near the 2012-13 NBA Season and snag a pair now from irishbaz2004 on eBay.

Nike Hyperposite “NYC”

August 17th, 2012 by | 11 comments

nike air max hyperposite nyc Nike Hyperposite NYC

What color truly represents New York City? Is it the green color of the Statue of Liberty? Maybe the yellow and black streaks of taxi-cabs whizzing by? Perhaps the neon lights of Times Square is what truly depicts the five boroughs, or the candy red for the Big Apple. Above all those iconic color combinations stands orange and blue – a sublime colorization that represents the New York Knicks, the New York Mets, and everything else ‘blue collar’ about the rugged concrete jungle known as NYC, so when one of the squads of the ‘Battle of the Boroughs’ Championship Game at Nike Rivington NYC this Sunday laces up to defend their turf, they’ll be rocking this NYC-specific colorway of the Nike Hyperposite. With the unmistakable Blue and Orange mash-up with ‘NYC’ lettering splashed all over the lace collar and insole, will these stand toe to toe with the ‘Statue of Liberty’ colorway? We’ll keep you on pace with potential release information on this colorway, so check out the gallery below and let us know what you think.

Nike Hyperposite “Statue Of Liberty”

Bangers. The Nike Hyperposite acts as a bridge between two gaps in Nike Basketball generations, bringing together the ’97-born Foamposite with the 2012-born Hyperfuse in a sensational new build that’ll surely dominate the courts and streets. For Sunday evening’s ‘Battle of the Boroughs’ Championship game in New York City’s Nike Rivington court, one of the NYC-based squads will debut this outstanding mint green/rust brown colorway representing the Statue of Liberty; the clear tie-in to the colorway and the historic city-specific structure is clear, but will the Hyperposite stand as tall when it sees action this Sunday night? The Nike Hyperposite ‘Statue of Liberty’ is slated for a release this November so check out the additional details, like the ‘rusted’ upper and the Statue of Liberty insole below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates and info on the all-new Hyperposite.
