While the Jordan Brand athletes head out to China and Kobe enjoys some downtime in Europe, LeBron James and Nike has decided to hit up the Philippines for a special “Witness History” Tour, which features some cool in-store events as well as some live demos of the King on a basketball court. His time out there has already resulted in a couple of killer sneaker exhibits, including that set of incredible customs and this, a collection of player exclusives and rare pairs from King James’ career (definitely some gems in here, most of which can be seen in Justin Amazing’s collection). Starting all the way back at the Nike Air Zoom Generation, the display includes hard to track down fare like the Nike Zoom LeBron IV “Fruity Pebbles”, the “Denim” Nike LeBron 8, and the not-quite-player-exclusive Nike LeBron X “MVP”. See the sneakers after the jump and let us know if you own any of these rare LeBrons, and stay tuned for more recaps from Nike and Jordan Brand’s plans overseas.

Four LeBron James MVP Awards, Four Nike MVP Sneakers

lebron james nike mvp sneakers Four LeBron James MVP Awards, Four Nike MVP Sneakers

LeBron James joined one of the most exclusive classes in NBA history when he was awarded the 2012-2013 Kia NBA MVP trophy this past Sunday. His fourth award rightfully places his name alongside other legends like Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wilt Chamberlain, and what’s even more impressive is that LeBron has the potential to win more MVP trophies down the road and perhaps end his career with the most in NBA history (he would need seven to do so – Kareem’s got six). But in 2013, what separates LeBron from the rest is that his signature shoe line has grown rapidly since he won his first trophy, with Nike fashioning a special edition version of each signature shoe model (MJ had a signature line, but never a solo “MVP” colorway).

deion sanders lebron vii 7 Nike LeBron VII Deion Sanders Heroes Pack Available on eBay

Another 10-15 years down the line, a future NBA star will point to LeBron James being one of his basketball heroes, and maybe then LeBron’s name will be mentioned for a future ‘Heroes Pack’ of sorts. But keeping things in this generation, this contemporary ‘Heroes Pack‘ that first rose with the Air Max LeBron VII is a tribute to Deion Sanders, one of LBJ’s idols; while Deion never played pro basketball, his on-field swagger and intensity made him an exemplar for success, and perhaps Deion is a reason why LeBron is the megastar he is today. These PEs rarely come across our eyes, so peep the new gallery below and see what the asking price is on the listing from raymondckngan on eBay.

Nike LeBron VII “Red Carpet Flip” Customs By Laptop Lasane

nike lebron vii red carpet flip 6 Nike LeBron VII Red Carpet Flip Customs By Laptop Lasane

The LeBron 8 and 9 has seen heavy use in the custom sneaker circuit, but that same can’t exactly be said for the Air Max LeBron VII. The first of the Jason Petrie era and the last of the Cavs period, the Air Max LeBron VII is the sneaker that really pushed the Nike LeBron into new heights, kicking things off with the energetic ‘Red Carpet’ colorway. Such a punchy combination of aqua blue, white, black, and a hint of red has never been tampered with until now, as Laptop Lasane brings a ‘flipped’ version of the Red Carpet featuring a primarily Red/Aqua upper with black accents. Your thoughts on this custom? Make your judgements after flipping through the gallery below.

In 2010, the world was in shock as a massive earthquake tore into Haiti, leaving the country in major need of global aid. Nike did its part with the Kinbe Pa Lage effort, which focused on raising funds toward the Haiti relief fund; the set of Nike Basketball gear, which included the LeBron VII, Kobe V, and Cradle Rock Low, was designed by students at Forest Park Elementary School where half the students are of Haitian descent, and the sneakers alone were never released and produced in very small numbers. A rare size 10.5 has just popped up for sale so if you’re interested in copping the kicks – either as a LeBron collector or in remembrance of the event – check out the listing from bkals_24 on eBay.
