Somewhere out there, a brand is celebrating some form of a retro runner’s anniversary. For the Nike Air Pegasus ’83, that celebration ended with the turn into 2014, but the sneaker has seemingly stuck around to bring us colorway after colorway this year. Perhaps that has to do with how diverse the model can be in terms of flexibility when it comes to material mock ups, as we’ve seen the shoe carry mesh as a base, suede, and even nylon. The latest ditches traditionalism for a textured look thats near Jacquard in style while a dark Cedar base that serves to bring out that Hyper Crimson heel. What do you think? Stay tuned for a release date, or jump the gun on this pair by picking them up via Titolo right now.

30 years and counting for the Nike Air Pegasus can only mean that the sneaker has seen an infinite amount of color combinations and material match ups in its three decade run. The running silhouette has had a longer tenure than nearly every swoosh line, and had the Air technology added to it in the late 80s to give it a needed upgrade. Now the shoe occupies the lifestyle realm, and this Dark Obsidian, Hyper Turquoise pair continues that tradition. Are you feeling this colorway? Be sure to check out more images after the break and know that this pair is available right now from overseas spots like Titolo.

The 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Pegasus gave the model new life, and it continues to make a strong push even after the celebration ended nearly a year ago. While the air max line is one of the most notable in the Swoosh lineup, it’s easy to look over the Pegasus’ time as the dominant runner from Nike throughout the 1980s. We’ve seen tape additions atop the 83/30, but there’s nothing like the classic Nike Air Pegasus ’89. The speckled Swoosh here is either a make or break for the colorway, as both a Light and Medium Ash hold down the base. What do you think? Grab more images after the click and stay tuned for a release date in the coming days.

Now that the sneaker isn’t celebrating any type of anniversary, the Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 has stalled to an occasion release here and there. The update to the retro sneaker was minimal at best, as Nike wanted to keep the traditionalism intact while adding new tech like Hyperfuse to usher the silhouette into the modern age. Back in July we previewed a Hyper Crimson/White-Obsidian pair that was sure to grab immediate attention based on how much of a bright standout it was. The good news is that it’s now available. The Nike Air Pegasus continues its strong summer run even after the 30th anniversary was wrapped up last year. Last year, Nike celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Air Pegasus line by giving us a brand new silhouette in the Nike Air Pegasus 83/30.
