The NFL Draft will get going next week, and the event will apparently be accompanied by a couple of pristine Nike retro releases. That’s not entirely surprising, as the Swoosh has been pretty serious about flexing their NFL connection ever since they landed the contract. The Nike Air Trainer 1 will be part of the group, dressing up in this clean black leather colorway that comes with just a couple touches of red and green. The Nike Air Trainer 1 definitely has cooled down a bit over the past couple of months, but that doesn’t mean that the Swoosh folks are tucking the Trainer away for good as far as 2013 is concerned. This Saturday, April 20th, will see the release of this – a premium pair that uses Black, Hyper red, and Gorge Green in gorgeous leather materials. This particular colorway appears to be a special edition for the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft, but anything Black/Red/Green built with these great materials is bound for that Gucci moniker as well, don’t you think? Nike Air Trainer 1 “Revis Island” – Release Reminder

The second Revis related trainer for this week is arriving in stores tomorrow, the earlier Nike Zoom Revis pair succeeded by this Nike Air Trainer 1. The colorway remains a fairly subtle one at certain angles, with the hefty 3M touches coming to life at others. On top of that the sneakers get some bright crimson and a few personal touches to drive home the Darrelle Revis connection.
