It didn’t take too long for the LunarLon-cushioned, vulc-soled Braata from Nike Skateboarding to jump from mild to wild. Following up on last months’ debut in Neutral Grey suede whose sole coloring came courtesy of a Crystal Mint lace, the Nike Braata LR Premium goes far out with a trio of tie-dye makeups. These aren’t the stereotypical hippie rainbow spirals, but rather tonal representations in black/white, reds and a golden-kissed version that will no doubt draw comparisons the Pushead’s second Dunk Low SB collabos. Neck Face is the latest artist to be reined in by Nike SB to whip up his own set of sneakers (And a matching line of apparel). The collab is one of those that just makes sense, as Neck Face’s work has long been embraced and utilized by the skateboarding community. Models included will be the Nike SB Blazer Mid LR, the Nike Braata LR Express, and the Nike Satire Express, each of which skip out on any serious graphical treatment and opt instead to utilize Face’s signature scratchy font. Nike Skateboarding’s Braata made its most significant impact to date with the Winterized versions that Stussy collab’d along with the OMS Dunks and Mogans. Today we have a look at the Lunar-cushioned variation, as the Nike Braata LR joins in with spring’s Crystal Mint persuasion. Paired with a Neutral Grey suede upper, these don’t have as much of the ‘Tiffany’ look as black-heavy designs, but this is still an extremely wearable but still expressive color combo, and you can see more photos below before you buy from shops like Premier.
