While the Air Foamposite One ‘Light-Up’ Customs have been gaining a ton of positive reviews lately, the idea of installing lights into sneakers has been done for quite some time. Evolved Footwear, who has done plenty of work with brightly-lit customs sneakers before, hits us again with another well-done project, using a ‘South Beach’ themed colorway of the Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse created on Nike iD; embedded into the heel of the midsole are twelve super-bright lights powered by a 9v batter that sits hidden inside the tongue, giving the lights 6-8 hours of life with the ability to turn the lights on and off at will. This custom work is a 1-of-1 and can be purchased directly from Evolved Footwear, so take a look at the gallery below and let us know what you think of the execution of this latest Light-Up custom!

Nike Hyperfuse x Nike Sportswear has produced some insane new colorways of Nike classics, and thanks to that part metallic, part matte finish of the Hyperfuse materials, the age old sneaker designs take on a whole new personality. Check out this tonal Neutral Grey colorway of the Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse; it seems rather simple at first, but that smooth finish paired with the Fuse-ventilated toebox and upper panel make for a high-tech appeal on a sneaker that’s a quarter-century old. Nikestore just stocked this new colorway so check out the images below for a better look.

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you the heads up on the release of the Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse on Nike iD. Looks like the Dunk High Hyperfuse Premium will join its Nike Sportswear brethren, and it features some different options than what was previously offered for the Dunk High iD. Starting off, the outsole is one solid piece, with choices like the vibrant orange and purple you see above, and the upper allows for the classic two-toned combo – a Dunk specialty. Check out some of the possibilities below and take a trip over to Nike iD to play around with the new Dunk High Hyperfuse.

The Air Max 1 was the first of Nike Sportswear’s Hyperfuse updates collection to hit retail and now we have another in a similar colorway. The Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse borrows the Midnight Fog shade of grey from those AM1 Fuses, but their blue accent shade is both more intense and plentiful, leading to a much brighter overall feel. Click through to get a look at this Dunk High Hyperfuse and stick with Sneaker News for updates regarding the other two pairs we’ve previewed as this one has just popped up available from JBseller on eBay.

Throughout history, sneakerheads have tended to prefer either the Nike Air Force 1 or Dunk, and now these all-time classics will have another friendly battle as they both receive cutting-edge upgrades this summer. So how does the Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse compare to the AF1 Fuse? Personal preferences aside, the one clear thing we can say regarding their aesthetics is that the Dunk has to this point offered more ‘natural’ colorblocking options thanks to the simulated ‘overlay’. But things are still relatively simple on these two-toned Dunk High Fuse colorups, laving your eye to examine the new texture of the Hyperfuse mesh material. Click through to see three pairs slated to release in July and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FRESHNESS
