The first teasers of the UNDFTD x Nike ‘Bringback Pack’ (along with the name) promised that the two sneaker set would very much be an echo of Undefeated’s earliest work with Nike. The reveal here proves the set to be very nostalgic, with the Nike Dunk High from the duo looking like an almost exact reprisal of the original white and gum combo from 2001. The Nike Hyperdunk 2012 also picks up on the look, slapping the five strikes logo on the heel and a classy gumsole tooling on bottom. Hit the jump to see some more and watch for the UNDFTD x Nike “Bringback Pack” to release this Saturday, February 9th.

UNDFTD has a rich history as far as cranking out collabs with Nike, the white out Undefeated x Nike Dunk High being one of the first ever team ups with a shop that the Swoosh did. Their recently teased reunion looks to be a reprisal of that heritage, as this image has arrived foreshadowing the February 9th release. The pack looks to consist of a Nike Dunk High and a Nike Hyperdunk 2012, sort of connecting the dots between the past and present of this timeless silhouette. Let us know if you’re anticipating the pack below and stay tuned to find out what Undefeated has in store.

So the Nike Dunk High is sorta under the radar this year (unless Nike Sportwear is gearing up for DUNK-XXX in 2016), but there are still a bunch of great GR colorways to choose from. This new piece mixes Green tones with Vivid Orange for the University of Miami Hurricanes look (the venue for the next Sneaker Con Miami, might we add), but the mix of material on the upper is what’s the takeaway prize here. You can get ‘em now at Premier so check out the photos below and see what’s available as well on eBay.

Dunk custom extraordinaire ROM hits us with a new piece of art designed after the Nike LeBron 9 designed by Miami-based artist Freegums. Using a Black/White base, ROM applies Freegums’ graphics on the upper with sharp black strokes (the LeBron 9 version had it lightly layered above in white), with black croc-skin customization on the upper. There’s a Dunk Low as well so check out this gallery of ROM’s latest Dunk customs below and head to his webstore to cop your own.

During the first week of 2013, Sneaker News profiled an upcoming Nike Dunk High whose combination of vibrant color scheme and unique rear panel texture earned them the nickname ‘Fruit Crackle’. Pictured above is another rendition of that same motif, a new black Dunk High whose focal points are Court Purple Swooshes, Electric Orange laces and an unnamed pink on the lining. The distinctive texture is in play here as well but comes off a bit subtler in the darker base tone; which do you prefer? Let us know after you’ve seen more photos below, then vote with your wallet at Nike Sportswear retailers like Oneness.

A recent ‘Crackle’ treatment gave us a fresh way to see the Air Force 1 High, and while its closest relative in the Nike Sportswear classic basketball lineage eschews the distinctive piping found on that design, the result is still every bit as eye-catching. Full of energy, too, as the Nike Dunk High takes on aqua, orange and yellow accents that give the all-royal upper a burst of life. The ‘dipped-plus’ upper manages to simultaneously keep things clean while adding some intrigue, and you can see more images after the jump while we wait for US release info.

The Nike Dunk High is set to get a woven upgrade like never before. Mind you, the weave this time is of the thicker variation-something more akin to the chunky set up found on the Nike Footscape Woven Chukka releases than that of the Nike Air Woven that originally introduced the look. Each of the Nike Dunk High Woven models we’ve got a preview of here slap the look on top of the traditional stitching between panels and go full on woven for the mid section. Stay with us to check out the pairs and keep your eyes on Sneaker News to find out when this new silhouette will make its US debut.

Some new detailed images of this under-the-radar collaboration of Nike Dunk Highs with mastermind Japan; these basic colorways of the Dunk are fashioned with some incredible details, like the bold mastermind branding on the heel and the skull logos on the custom tongue labels, but another hidden feature of these Premium-grade Dunk Highs is the use of the ubiquitous camo print on the insoles of the shoes. A release has already gone down at select spots in Asia, but look for these to start appearing at other choice retails soon. Looking back at 2012 – are these the best and/or most underrated Dunks of the year?
