That Cocoa flavored Nike Dunk High isn’t the only pair on the horizon that looks to resurrect ancient, hard hitting Nike Air Force 1 styles by means of a separate silhouette. Doing the same is this Nike Dunk High, a pair that grabs at the UK/Japan only Nike Air Force 1 B pair from back in 2001 that did that reflective/reptile thing. They’ve also got that leather tongue tag, a detail we’ve seen on a handful of other special Dunk releases this year like the “Viotech”. Get a better look at this Nike Dunk High just below and tell us if you’re hoping to pick them up.

Many Air Force 1 fanatics will point to the “Cocoa Snake” as one of the greatest ever. Looks like it’ll be ported over to the Dunk high as we get a first look at the Nike Dunk High “Cocoa”; it features the mid-’80s model in high-top form with snakeskin uppers and a black Swoosh to complete that iconic look. The Cocoa Snake is indeed credited as one of the earliest collectible Nike sneakers of the 21st century – will these follow suit? Check the gallery below and stay tuned for more.

The upcoming “Tiger” Hyperflights will be accompanied by the newly released Nike Dunk Free, seen here in a matching black/grey/orange colorway. The Dunk Free, however, takes a much more subtler approach by using the catchy stripes only on the Swoosh while utilizing a basic color-blocking throughout the rest of the shoe. It’s likely that similar Dunk Frees will release to coincide with the “Shark” and “Lion” Hyperflights, so in the meantime, check out the additional photos below and stay tuned for more updates.

Nike Dunk High GS “Safari” – Black – Atomic Red

The safari print is all over the place this year. In fact, it seems to be even more prevalent than last year, which is a bit curious given that the sneaker it originated on celebrated a big birthday back in 2012. This time around the Nike Dunk High is the model sporting that look, doing so just on its mid panel. Elsewhere the shoe wears black and atomic red, a colorway that definitely doesn’t have anything to do with that “safari” theme. Stay with us through the click for a few additional images and then grab this Nike Dunk High GS from Titolo.

The most recent Dunk Highs Nike Sportswear released featured a chopped up color blocking template highlighted by a carbon fiber-like weave at the ankle collar.  They must have liked the results, because here’s an upcoming Nike Dunk High that adds it to the rear quarter panel as well.  So instead of the earlier template whereby the collar would have been orange, these go all silver, all-woven at the heel; which pattern looks better?  Let us know after you’ve seen more of these below, then be sure to check back with Sneaker News for word on a US release.

Nike Dunk High Blazer Fortress Green

With five colorways about to arrive, let’s take a moment to look at one of the Blazer-inspired Nike Dunk Highs individually.  This pair utilizes the new Fortress Green shade, a color that while new, admirably reflects the legacy of the vintage Blazers these seek to imitate.  The belly Swoosh and cupsole is still a combination that’ll take some getting used to; how does this configuration compare to the earlier vulc-soled Dunk High ACs?  Check out more images below to help you decide for yourself, and be sure to check back with Sneaker News for release info.
