The Nike Flyknit One+ has quickly caught up the to the Nike Flyknit Trainer as far as being the most prolific of models from the Nike Flyknit range. The “Volt” look is a must for any Flyknit silhouette, as that burning bright yellow was sort of the most prevalent color at the technology’s initial rollout. It shows up all over the upper for this pair, which also sports the coveted speckled look for its midsole tooling. Check out the Nike Flyknit One+ “Volt” after the jump and keep in mind that Social Status has them in stock now.

The Nike Flyknit series is one that’s been praised for, among other things, the close fit that the brand new technology is capable of. But how do you improve upon the out of the box comfort already offered by the sneakers? A Nike door out in London has answered that question with the steaming lounge, a process that lets customers get their pair of the new Nike Flyknit One+ steamed up, which gets the insole all pliable. At that point you slide the sneakers on and they will mold to the exact shape of the wearer. “Nike Flyknit technology has redefined the way that we create footwear.”
The unveiling of Flyknit was perhaps the most significant story of last year, with several Nike buffs calling the Flyknit sneaker the #1 release of the year. While the Air Yeezy 2 and Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ undoubtedly had that “must-have” sneaker-sex appeal, neither release will be as meaningful as Flyknit will be for years to come. What’s amazing is that what’s been revealed to us thus far is just the tip of the metaphorical iceberg, but Nike is ready to move forward with all that Flyknit has to offer by debuting the Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ in mid-February. In this video, Nike Running footwear designer Rob Williams walks us through the design, function, and potential of this outstanding new design, so check out the clip below and let us know if you were one of the select group that picked Flyknit as the #1 release of 2012.
