Of all the models sporting its namesake material over the past year, the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ has issued the most colorways. It was the Flyknit Trainer that took to the Olympic medal stand last summer, and continues to run alongside the more recently introduced Lunar Flyknit One. Here’s a new style that demonstrates one of the things Flyknit does best, namely, blending two colors into one. You see a good bit of that at the toe of this Squadron Blue and Pink Flash pair, the result being a rich wine-like color that gives this pair its unique feel. Check out more images below and stay tuned for availability soon.

Nike Flyknit Trainer – Volt – Green – White

Can we call this new Nike Flyknit Trainer an Oregon colorway? The volt tone is definitely one that’s been applied to the Ducks squad plenty of times before, and the presence of that light green in there has theme feeling even more Eugene. Keep in mind that the Nike Flyknit Trainer was a shoe, like so many others, that saw action in Eugene before anywhere else thanks to that USATF Olympic Trials launch last Summer. Get with us after the jump for a more complete look at this fairly recent Nike Flyknit Trainer joint and watch for them now at retailers like Caliroots.

Nike Flyknit Trainer “Pigeon” Customs

nike flyknit trainer pigeon 1 Nike Flyknit Trainer Pigeon Customs

Will the Nike Flyknit line ever be subject to collaboration process? Keep in mind we’re not counting the HTM designation in that realm, given that that trio is sort of an in-house affair. Shown here is a custom creation that would no doubt drive folks wild if it happened on the collab end, a Nike Flyknit Trainer “Pigeon”. The simple addition of the pigeon patch on the back end immediately gives them that all-important Reed Space connection. Tell us what you think of this pair in the comments below and let us know if you think the Nike Flyknit series deserves a collab release somewhere down the line.

Nike Flyknit Trainer+ “Neo Turquoise”

April 26th, 2013 by | No comments

nike flyknit trainer neo turquoise Nike Flyknit Trainer+ Neo Turquoise

Is the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ taking some slight cues from the Nike Flyknit Lunar1? You’ll notice that the silhouette is now sporting flat laces instead of those rounded off joints that originally appeared in the sneakers. Other than that this is very much the Nike Flyknit Trainer you know and love. Colors this time around include neo turquoise, white, and dark grey, a combination that comes in kinda close to that original “Blue Glow” look on the sneaker (One that’s long gone now). Get more on this new Nike Flyknit Trainer+ colorway below and watch for them now at NSW accounts including SNS.

Nike Flyknit Trainer “Multi-Color” – Summer 2013 Sample

nike lunar flyknit multi color summer 2013 sample 12 Nike Flyknit Trainer Multi Color Summer 2013 Sample

Nike has emphasized the “green” effect that has been produced by Flyknit, where waste is considerably minimized as the shoe upper is built with individual threads. What Nike has been rather modest about is this (see above) – the ability to create an unlimited array of radical colorways. Whether its the basic two-toned interweave of the Black and Volt or HTM’s “Snow Style” in the recent Chukka release, Flyknit has enabled Nike’s innovators to realize what was at one point limited to the imagination (or computer software). This 2013 sample fo the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ exhibits the no-holds-barred selection of colors that even Mr. Cosby would be pleased with. Be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the Flyknit front, so check out the gallery below and purchase this sample pair now¬†from norynb on eBay.
