nike hyperfeel trail elite womens Nike Introduces The Free Hyperfeel Cross Elite and Free 1.0 Cross Bionic

We’re ten years in to the Nike Free revolution, and my how things have changed.  From a totally novel concept some people considered too crazy to even try, the barefoot running market has firmly established itself and welcomes innovation just like the traditional cushioned segment.  The new Nike Free 1.0 Cross Bionic is the first time Nike Free has gone to the extreme (the previously most unstructured releases were 3.0s).  It’s intended to give the most barefoot-like feel to date, while the Flywire locks you into a stable ride.  The Free Hyperfeel Cross Elite offers some of the same benefits, while combining the revolutionary technologies Flyknit, LunarLon and of course, Nike Free.  Click in to see both in action and be ready to get to work in the Free 1.0 Cross Bionic on March 27th and the Free Hyperfeel Cross Elite starting March 1st.

The Nike Free Hyperfeel is one of only a couple of Flyknit sneakers that has yet to don the multi-color look. For what it’s worth though, this new pair does have a little bit more of the static speckle than we’ve previously seen on the silhouette. Both the sock-like collar and the toebox get particularly fuzzy with the black dotting. Stay tuned after the break if you’re interested in seeing more photos and then pick up this new Nike Hyperfeel release from the team at Nikestore.

We hadn’t counted these among the potential all-red releases for 2014, but then again, there’s not much about the Nike Free Hyperfeel Run that we would have expected in advance. The Free Hyperfeel is something like the world’s best running sock, a Flyknit design that wraps your foot from above with the aid of Dynamic Flywire lockdown, so you stay securely in place on a new natural motion sole that incorporates LunarLon cushioning within. This tonal combination of Gym Red and Bright Crimson puts them in line with arguably the hottest look going at the moment, so click in for a closer view and then cop yours from stores like Caliroots.

With the exception of the Trail edition, most of what we’ve seen from the Nike Free Hyperfeel to date can be summarized by black, white and neon.  There is indeed some vibrant yellow on this new ladies edition pictured above, but its context is different as applied to a base of tonal blues whose steely shades look like they could be of the Armory family.  Overall, these have a very ‘Memphis Grizzlies’ lean to them, and it will be exciting to see new color schemes applied to this eye-catching barefoot runner as we move forward.  Check out this one in more detail below and let us know which is the best Free Hyperfeel design to date.

The Nike Free Hyperfeel is an accumulation of some of Nike’s best new tech from the past decade. The Flyknit upper is Beaverton’s latest big idea, providing a sock-like fit with minimal weight that’s made to fit you securely thanks to a Dynamic Flywire lockdown system. These cables hold your foot to the brand new sole that combines the cushioning of LunarLon with Free natural motion. The colorways to date have relied heavily on some combination of black/grey/white and the signature Volt neon, which provides the sense of this as a groundbreaking flagship product. This new pair mixing black along with Wolf and Dark Greys hides Volt on its insole and can be seen in more detail below before you buy straight from NikeStore.
