Remember when the Nike Flyknit category first made its debut and there were all those limited HTM pairs up for grabs via various avenues? It seems like the same treatment has been applied to the new Nike Free Hyperfeel Run, their super minimal barefoot style sneaker. Shown here is a black and white colorway that skips out on the volt sole, one that was said to be available exclusively in the US at Nike’s recent Nature Amplified exhibit in NYC. As of today it looks like they’ll be a bit more available than that-21 Mercer is stocking them now. nike hyperfeel installation nyc Nike Hyperfeel: The Art and Science of Feeling

The new Nike Free Hyperfeel is a sneaker that’s arrived alongside plenty of fanfare from Nike. Their latest space to put the sneakers on display, a giant black temporary structure, is sitting in Manhattan at the moment. The installation allows guests a unique tactile experience that shouldn’t be too far off from running in the actual sneakers given how barefoot leaning they are. What’s more, that black and white colorway just spotted is up for grabs now at the space-keep in mind that that pair hasn’t been available anywhere else just yet. Continue reading for more info and make sure you visit the Nike Hyperfeel “Art and Science of Feeling” exhibit at the corner of 9th avenue and Gansevoort Street at the Gansevoort Plaza in NYC, while it’s there for the weekend.

The Nike Free Hyperfeel sure has been elusive for a sneaker that’s ready to release tomorrow. For what it’s worth though, the best look yet at the futuristic design came from Sneaker News Select’s exclusive coverage of the shoe. Pictured here is a colorway that skips out on the volt touches. The straightforward black and white look is one that’s being billed as a release for tomorrow, September 5th, but we’d be sort of surprised if they showed up based on the fact that there’s not been a peep of such a colorway across any official calenders. Let us know if you’re after them and stay tuned to see if this Nike Free Hyperfeel does indeed hit the Big Apple tomorrow as reported by Nike Stadiums.

nike nature amplified flyknit concepts 1 Nike Nature Amplified Flyknit Prototypes

On Tuesday Nike unveiled the Nature Amplified concept, which acts as an umbrella for some innovative footwear models like the Free Flyknit and Free Hyperfeel. We can imagine that the design process leading to this point was hardly an easy one, but Nike wasn’t shy about showing off the journey it took to arrive to the two incredible designs. During the Innovation Summit at the Nike World Headquarters, a special display of samples and prototypes leading up to Nature Amplified was on display – a portion of it seen below. Nike rarely ever lets these types of assets run free into the wild, but clearly the chapters to the story were worth telling. Head on over to Crooked Tongues to check out their entire feature and stay tuned for a launch of the Free Flyknit in August and the Free Hyperfeel in September.
