It’s not going to get an EXT designation because the Nike Free Powerlines+ 2 is already a Nike Sportswear creation, but here’s a new rendition that’ll be right at home alongside the casual Free Run+ 2 and other such styles. This first suede Powerlines II mixes Almond Brown with select yellow accents and the speckled sole that’s worked so well for this model. Its muted composition has tons of potential for other palettes, and since NSW tends to put styles like these into sets, you can expect to see other renditions of this template shortly. Stick with Sneaker News for the latest including release info, and check out some more images of this Almond Brown Powerlines 2 in the meantime.

Ever since the Powerlines sequel was unveiled late last year, we’ve seen a convergence in the Nike Sportswear casual running category. Notable followers in the vein of the Nike Free Powerlines+ II include the Free 5.0 EXTs and Lunar Prestos, and even the smash hit Roshe Run is taking on the Dynamic Flywire look. But it’s been a good while since the last Powerlines 2 hit, so these three new colorways offer a reminder that this is a model we should expect to continue satisfying throughout 2013. Check out the subtle binary blocking method applied to this latest trio in more photos below, then grab yours straight from NikeStore.

Another Nike Free Powerlines+ II colorway is coming and it looks like the pair in question will again featuring the coveted sole-speckling. At this point we’re pretty sure that will be the standard treatment on this Nike Free equipped runner as not a release in sight has strayed from that formula. Beyond said nostalgic print is quite the colorful upper, as the sneaker’s surface is dominated by atomic teal and just a little bit of punchy pink in the accents and lining. Nike Sportswear is about to unleash the Free Powerlines’ sequel, and in these latest images, part deux’s most eye-catching colorway yet is revealed to be almost as different from the last viewing, as the Nike Free Powerlines+ II is from its predecessor. Previously appearing in the grey range with a purple overtone, this pair is now confirmed as the debut for the new earthy yet elegant Diffused Taupe shade. A bit of rosiness still comes across but they’re decidedly more organic, even when paired with vibrant red and green accents along the sagittal plane. Have a closer look, let us know how these compare to the first Powerlines and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

The Nike Free Powerlines wasted no time switching to sequel mode, the second iteration model already on its way to US retailers. A little bit of that oh-so-literal nomenclature is lost in the Nike Free Powerlines+ II but that’s not to say it’s not a sick model, the upper relying on indentations and perforations rather than any sort of linear overlay. Check out this newest combo featuring a mixture of grey, neon, and red and let us know in the comments below if you’re feeling the Nike Free Powerlines+ II. As always, check back with Sneaker News for word on when and where to pick up your pair.

With the first edition’s initial colorways hitting retail just a few months ago, Sneaker News took a recent Nike Free Powerlines+ 2 preview as a sign of things to come with an outside chance that the first pair’s product cycle might be shortened. A more traditional annual approach seemed more likely upon the unveiling of the newest ‘Wool’ Powerlines, but now we know to expect them concurrently as the Free Powerlines+ II gets a January 2013 ship date. This first Dark Obsidian style has a simple upper that shows off the Free 3.0 sole’s potential for speckling, featuring an earthy splatter that connects with the Dynamic Flywire cables that’ll make such a big impact on this updated design. Let us know which Free Powerlines+ silo is best after you’ve seen more below and stick with Sneaker News for US release info.
