The recently established plurality in Nike Free offerings is a very good thing. Instant classics Free Run+ 2 and Powerlines+ have been allowed to continue expressing the superb designs that make them just as popular as the recently introduced follow-ups, and new colorways prove that a series can offer multiple designs as instant classics just as well as universally heralded lineages like Air Max. The Nike Free Powerlines+ is just now hitting its stride, this dope Dark Atomic Teal-ribboned WMNS release a dynamic spring look as combined with Wolf and Cool Greys plus just a hint of yellow. You’ll see more angles below, then buy a pair at NikeStore.

Wool is one of the go-to materials when the days get shorter and colder, and a natural fit on sock-like models as is the case with this latest release.  Bringing stateside a design that’d hit select European retailers a short while back, the Nike Free Powerlines+  is ready with a black and white flecked build that uses black Powerlines for a grounding effect.  Blue laces and a red tongue tag further the high-contrast vibe, and you can see some crystal clear photos below of how they come together before you buy a pair from Kith.

Nike Free Powerlines+ NRG “Wool”

A looming sequel suggests the Nike Free Powerlines+ is headed for a quick exit, but if that happens to be the case, it’s going out with a bang. Check out this new Free Powerlines Quickstrike that features a one-piece wool upper with a staticky black and white mix. This high-contrast look captures the palette of the year for 2012 but adds blue laces and heel loops plus just the tiniest hint of red for that extra bold kick. It’s intriguing to consider this kind of woolen upper as applied to a Dynamic Flywire build as is the case with the next Powerlines, but your forward-looking should also include this new pair that just dropped at Hanon.

The Powerlines+ push continues with this brand new colorway that takes advantage of the aesthetic appeal of the Powerlines lacing system. Using the arrangement of the midfoot upper, a sick gradient effect is achieved, starting with a light yellow at the forefoot and the darkened gold at the rear, re-imagining the classic Air Max 95 gradient. Some nice details in the speckled midsole and the fuschia heel pull-tab and insole give these B&W a punchy upgrade. Finishline has these in stock, so head there after checking out the images below.

nike sportswear grey navy collection 1 Nike Sportswear Grey/Navy Collection

New Balance is the brand most strongly associated with grey and navy blue suede and mesh retro running designs, but if you consider the vast Nike Sportswear catalog, it makes sense that many of these styles would also flourish under such traditionally elegant conditions.  NSW brings forth a new collection featuring eight different styles split into two sets of four silos, as the Nike Air Safari continues its 25th anniversary alongside Air Max 90s, Air Epics and Free Powerlines+es in grey and navy as part of the appropriately frilllessly-named capsule.  NSW nails the NB steez with a solid variety of kicks and complimenting apparel, and the grey joints will drop this Friday, September 28th, followed by the blues one week later on October 5th.

Nike Free Powerlines+ – Black – Grey

atmos’ rainbow striping was a perfect way to emphasize the Nike Free Powerlines+‘s key feature, and now we see it was but a glimpse at all the possible gradient options. Here’s another take on a fade effect for those signature ribbons, this time with a far subtler effect atop the black mesh base layer. Shades of grey remind us of the immortal Air Max 95 but a blood orange heel loop makes for a more aggressive finish than your typical ‘Neon’ setup. A sign that we’re just getting to know the Free Powerlines+, the latest rendition just arrived at Finish Line.
