This past February, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker came together to officially launch Nike FlyKnit, a revolutionary new method of construction that utilized yarns and fabrics engineered for use only where it was needed. This amplified running shoe was first released as part of the Nike HTM FlyKnit collection, which included the Nike HTM FlyKnit Trainer and HTM FlyKnit Racer in extremely limited quantities. After a second successful wave of releases in April, HTM comes together for a third package to commemorate the start of the 2012 London Olympics; on July 26th, Nike will release the third Nike HTM FlyKnit Collection exclusively at Nike Sportswear 1948 in London, followed by a global launch at other locations in late August. Six colorways of the Nike HTM FlyKnit Collection will be available so take a look at all six below and stay tuned for more FlyKnit updates here on Sneaker News.

Earlier today we showed you the Second Collection of the Nike HTM Flyknit collection, featuring a new Total Orange colorway of the Flyknit Racer and two new Flyknit Trainer releases. Nike rolled out the red carpet once again for the launch of this collection at 10 Corso Como in Milan, Italy, displaying the shoes in breathtaking format (nothing short of what you’d expect in terms of creativity). The Nike HTM Flyknit Second Collection was also on display at Nike Stadium Milano, where a unique design-centric workshop called the Flyknit Collective project was held, challenging designers to create a design that focuses on ‘Sustainability’ (a full video below). Check out the full event space at 10 Corso Como and Nike Stadium Milano below for a first-hand look at yet another awesome Launch Event for the Nike Flyknit!

If you can’t quite grasp the heightening of the senses when a product of this magnitude is served up to you on a perfectly formed plate, just try to imagine what it’d feel like if all the Food Network Iron Chefs served you breakfast in bed. In late February, an event of similar greatness went down at 21 Mercer, as Mark Parker and Hiroshi Fujiwara presented the all-new Nike Flyknit to a select group of invitees. The Nike HTM Flyknit Racer and Nike HTM Flyknit Trainer grabbed the attention of progressively-minded fashion buffs and sneakerheads, and the uber-limited units sold out immediately to an eager crowd that was ready to explore the all-new Flyknit technology.
Nike just unveiled the second installment of the Nike HTM Flyknit Collection; once again, it features a trio of Flyknit models (the Flyknit Racer and two Flyknit Trainers) – the Racer in a blazing hot Total Orange and the two Trainers mixed with White/Black and Grey/Volt. These were available yesterday, April 17th, in Milan at Nike Stadium Milano, but additional releases will go down at select spots on April 22nd (21 Mercer in NYC, 1948 in London, Nike Harajuku in Tokyo, and Dover Street Market in Ginza). Continue reading for a detailed look at the HTM x Nike Flyknit Second Collection below and stay tuned as we will give you a inside look at the Launch Event that went down at Corso Como in Milan.
