Earlier this week, Sneaker News confirmed a November 2011 release for the Nike Huarache Free 2012 running shoe in the original colorway. While we haven’t seen any solid images of other colorways (but more are sure to arrive), the Nike Huarache Free 2012, despite not being in the original Air Huarache form, will certainly be one of the most comfortable shoes ever created. Why? Combine the light-weight and economical construction of the Air Huarache upper with the equally featherweight Nike Free outsole and its barefoot feel, and you get supreme comfort, minimal weight, and a nostalgic design. Expect these to hit Nike Sportswear retailers this month, so check out the new images below in the meantime and let us know what you think. via atmos.

Although Nike Free didn’t officially debut until 2004, foot-form running technology has been the focus of the Nike APE (Advanced Products Engineering) team for decades. In fact, the concept that would later become Nike Free was born in the mid-90′s, around the time of the debut of the Nike Footscape. Another 90′s-born technology is the Nike Huarache line; it cut out the excess fat and created a lightweight package of running, basketball, and training footwear never seen before. This November 2011, Nike will combine the two iconoclastic design approaches by introducing the Nike Huarache Free 2012 Basketball & Running capsule, which combines the widely-celebrated upper designs with a sport-specific Nike Free-grooved outsole. For the Nike Huarache Free 2012 Basketball, expect two ‘OG’ renditions in the White/Royal/Purple and Black/Aqua/Royal; for its Running counterpart, await the White/Gold/Teal. All three will hit Nike retailers this November 2011, so continue reading for some additional angles and let us know what you think.
