It’s a combination we just saw Nike Sportswear execute to perfection on a suede Air Max 95, and now the Obsidian and Action Red duo is back with a little help from an old friend. This new Nike Huarache Free 2012 has the distinct look of a USA colorup as we get ready for the London Olympics buildup, but don’t forget that almost a third of Major League Baseball teams rock this very same trio. They’re a multi-tool talent with casual and serious training potential, and you’ll find the latest Free-soled take on the beloved Air Huarache at select NSW dealers like FinishLine.

The green and yellow colorway is always a popular run for Nike runners, a combo that makes sense given their heritage at the University of Oregon. The latest that comes with the ducked out look is the Nike Huarache Free 2012, a hybridized runner that takes the neoprene beauty of the OG Huarache silhouette and fits it up with the Nike Free sole. This is one of those hybrids that just makes sense, a fitting ‘what if’ moment where a couple of Nike’s best innovations are allowed to cross-pollinate. Follow us after the jump for the full look at this court green/tour yellow pair, and hit up Finishline to grab yours now as sizes are going fast.

Roughly one month ago, we were treated to a series of preivews for the Nike Huarache Free 2012 slated to drop in Q1, but it was all still a tease as the very first colorway hadn’t even made it to retail yet. That Quickstrike pair was one of the sneaky successes of the holiday season, and since you can’t find those in stores, it’s time to move on to a few new looks for spring. Coming up first is the ’Bumblebee’ Huarache Free 2012 we showed you in early December, along with a grey and soft blue edition that both do right by this hybrid model celebrating the original Air Huarache’s 21st birthday. Expect both of these at select retailers like Size? next month and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availibility.

Our most recent look into the future of the Nike Huarache Free 2012‘s future came in a navy, red and white colorup, so what happens when you get rid of all that navy? Swap the blue sections out for more white and that’s roughly what you get from this latest Huarache Free preview, a model whose upper now looks just as crisp as the grooved white soles on each pair we’ve seen to this point. They’d make an excellent holiday release, especially with a green lace swap, and although the timing of these images makes them seem like a Christmas miracle, it’s far more likely we’ll see them at Nike Sportswear retailersshortly after the turn of the year. Have a closer look after the jump and be sure to check back with Sneaker News for word on their release date. via SF

Did Albert Pujols make sure to sign with another team with the same colors as his previous employer just to make sure he could still have plenty of matching gloves and cleats? There were probably other more significant reasons for The Machine’s defection to LA (about a quarter-billion of them), but still, it’s hard to deny the charm of a crisp red, white and navy trio as we start to think about Spring Training. This new Nike Huarache Free 2012 will be available in time for pitchers and catchers to report, their leather and mesh bodies a suitable compliment to any Braves, Dodgers, Indians, Nationals, Phillies, Rangers, Red Sox or Twins fan’s arsenals, too. We just showed you the Footscape Free about to drop in an eyecatching Safety Orange colorup, and now here’s a look at another Free’d-up running icon that manages a similarly attention grabbing look with its vibrant shade reserved for accent hits. The Nike Huarache Free 2012 is the latest in a growing lineup of classic models made new by way of a barefoot-style setup, this ‘Bumblebee’ colorway so crisp that we can’t help but wonder which other models might benefit from a taste of Free-dom. Nike Basketball made news in September when along with revealing the return of the Zoom Huarache 2K4, we got preview images of the upcoming Air Huarache Basketball 2012. The former is one of the past decades undisputed performance champions while the latter takes a novel apporach in utilzing a Free-grooved outsole, as does its cousin pictured above. The design similarities between the Huarache Bball 2K12 and the Nike Huarache Free 2012 don’t end with the sole, as both find themselves true to the OG Air Huarache that’s celebrating its 21st birthday next year. Click through to see more images and look for the latest Huaraches on the cover of SneakerFreaker issue 22.

May and June featured a ton of preview of upcoming sneakers for the early 2012 season. One of the standouts from those look-sees was the Nike Huarache Free 2012, which combined the classic Nike Huarache Running Shoe upper with a Free-grooved outsole. It was a combination of 90′s and 00′s innovation, combining the Mexican sandal-inspired design with the ‘bare-foot’ running sensation, but some of our readers were not too happy to see a hybrid of the Huarache. This new look at the upcoming Grey/Blue and Black/Yellow colorways might change your mind, because they certainly look like comfortable offerings. We’ve got extra views for you below so take a look and let us know what you think. via numelo.
