Nike’s Olympic ads this year have encouraged viewers to ‘Find Your Greatness.‘  For Sneaker News readers in Europe, that #findgreatness suggestion can be realized at Nike Stadium Berlin, where a sick new Nike Hyperdunk+ console just arrived.  Limited to four ultra-premium consoles (the word ‘box’ or even ‘package’ does these no justice), the Hyperdunk+, ‘Ice’ FuelBand and iPod Touch with Nike+ apps are on display through August 12th.  You can enter the raffle to win one of four consoles by testing your vertical jump at the Stadium, and click through to see more images of the ultra-impressive Bose audio-integrated console and its new Lunar Hyperdunk colorway.

Team USA was at least 113% better than the Nigerian national basketball squad on Thursday, and left London’s ‘Marshmallow’ arena with a handful of Olympic scoring records. The outcome was never in question, so even as USA Basketball uses each game as a chance to fine tune their collective, it’s all but a foregone conclusion that they’ll be contending for the gold medal on August 12th. Also tentatively locked in for that weekend is a Saturday, August 11th Asian release of the ‘Gold Medal’ Nike Lunar Hyperdunk, a variation on the ‘Sport Pack’ and LeBron James’ PEs thanks to a world-beating metallic Swoosh on the toes. Look them over in more detail after the jump, let us know where this year’s Hyperdunk reboot ranks compared to the past twenty years of Nike Basketball innovations we’ve been tracking here on Sneaker News and check back with us for the US release date. Nike Basketball just showed off what might be the most impressive Lunar Hyperdunk+ colorway to date, and here we have another style that adds Nike+ technology to an eye-catching style.  This new Nike Hyperdunk+ ‘Sport Pack’ colorup has a similar blocking scheme but ends up looking a bit more businesslike sans speckling as Pure Platinum and Dark Grey give way to Bright Crimson accents. Select Nike Basketball retailers including 21 Mercer should have these in stock for the first week of August, so let us know how they compare to the first ‘Sport Pack’ drop and all the Olympic Hyperdunks and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

The first Nike Hyperdunk+ ‘Sport Pack’ release took center stage at the World Basketball Festival in Paris just over a week ago, when Justin ‘Jus Fly’ Darlington took the crown thanks to dunks like the one that had those Lunar HDs right beside his assistant’s head.  Blocked similarly yet arriving at an entirely different, this new Sail edition adds Calypso teal and Peach Cream accents to end up somewhere near the Miami Dolphins color scheme.  In this context it’s easier to see the pair we’ll show you in a short time as a Heat style (especially with LeBron James carrying the Lunar Hyperdunk torch).  These also have a McFly lean to them with the speckled midsole, so click through to see more and let us know which pair you’re more likely to cop from stores like 21 Mercer on the August 4th drop date.

USA Basketball has one more tune-up before the Olympics get underway, a finale against host Spain to wrap up the World Basketball Festival‘s Barcelona leg.  Kevin Durant led the way with 27 points with Kobe and King James adding 18 and 15, respectively, and each of Nike Basketball’s big three rocked new patriotic pairs courtesy of the Swoosh’s online dream catcher.  The Nike Zoom KD IV iD is united with the Zoom Kobe VII and LeBron’s Lunar Hyperdunk+ in its use of a white upper, red laces and blue Swoosh/sole combo, and all three of them can be used as a base for your own customization experiments on NIKEiD.  Have a look at the trio below so you can get an idea for which one you’ll want to start with and stick with Sneaker News for more USA Olympic Nikes.

LeBron James has had his own Nike Basketball signature series since entering the NBA as an 18 year-old rookie phenom, and just like Kobe Bryant did four years ago at arguably the peak of his powers, LeBron is ready to lead the charge for the Swoosh’s non-signature roundball flagship.  James showed up to USA Basketball practice in Las Vegas rocking the Nike Lunar Hyperdunk pictured above, and aside from the King’s logo on the tongue, it’s otherwise identical to the ‘USAB’ Sport Pack edition that’s set to arrive at retailers tomorrow.  Let us know how you feel about LeBron’s Lunar Hyperdunks when you’re on the other side checking out more photos (including a group shot featuring the ‘big 4′ signature stars’ USAB PEs) and stick with Sneaker News for all the 2012 Olympic player exclusives.
