Basketball is very much an international game in 2014, so it only makes sense that the sneakers made for the sport are dished out on an international level. And we’re talking straight from the brand – for example the Spanish national basketball team has now been outfitted with a couple of player exclusives of the Nike Zoom Hyperrev and the Nike Hyperfuse 2013. The two sneakers work in the typical red and yellow of la Rojigualda, along with some ñ logos on the tongues for that extra Castellano flavor. J.R. Smith is in trouble for some innovative defense he’s been playing as of late. The Knicks player was today hit with a $50,000 fine for his two separate incidences of untying an opponent’s shoe lace-one of them performed on Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion and the other on Greg Monroe of the Detroit Pistons. For the record Marion had on the Nike Hyperfuse 2013 while Monroe was wearing the Nike Hyperdunk 2013-no word yet on Smith’s plans should he run into an opponent with a zip up sneaker like the Air Jordan 28. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2013 PE Deron Williams wore on Christmas Day was the shoe’s wildest colorway to date, its upper graphic somewhere between a holiday sweater loom and Max Headroom. Those appear to be forever a player exclusive, but there’s a new style that just hit with its own graphic flourish as well as a familiar palette anchored in green. This Hyperfuse 2013 in black with Apple Green and Yellow Strike accents will be familiar to those who scooped the ‘Oregon Ducks’ Air Diamond Turf, because those three colors are identical. There’s no ‘O’ or Fighting Duck branding on here and you can see all the details depicted below, then cop a pair from Kicks-crew.

The cutting edge material is pictured above cast almost entirely in another signature 2010s Nike aesthetic in Volt, a neon yellow shade that fits right in with the exuberant royal tones of Vivid Blue. The Hyperfuse 2013 has been fairly quiet since its introduction over the summer, so this bold new colorway will help to draw some renewed attention, and you can see them in more photos below before buying at Nike Basketball retailers like Oneness.
