Kobe Bryant quietly shifted to his eighth Nike Basketball signature sneaker, showing off a couple of upcoming styles on-court as we approach the December 20th release date. They only represent a small portion of what to expect from the Nike Kobe 8 System, based on precedents set by both the past few years’ copious colorway selection and the fifth straight year of NIKEiD customization. The Kobe 8 System iD also arrives on Thursday, and judging by the array of green tones at play on the sample of which you can see more below, you could be busy tinkering with different color combos until the end of time. After the unveiling of the ‘Python’ colorway of the Kobe 8, we were left wondering what sort of energetic colorways would be in the mix for this latest Kobe sig shoe. The Nike Kobe 8 will indeed be available on NIKE iD, with some official images popping up to give you a preview of what exactly you’ll have to work with when the model enters full-on customizable mode on December 20th. Pictured here are a few examples of the Nike Kobe 8 iD using the scaly look that will hit on the ‘Christmas’ colorway of the sneaker, with some spicy choices like different colored translucent outsoles, scales, and more being made apparent.
