The Nike Basketball ‘Easter Pack’, consisting of the Nike LeBron X Low, the Nike KD V, and the Nike Kobe 8 will release on Friday, March 29th. The inspiration for the set comes from the tradition of dipping and dying Easter eggs, with each sneaker in the group dressed up in bright, pastel hues to match the holiday. Nike iD recently wrapped up the Twitter-driven #COUNTONKOBEiD contest in which Kobe hand-picked a winning design based on the ‘Home’ colorways of the Lakers uniforms. Kobe promised to wear the design in a game, and he certainly kept his word as he wore this clean colorway during yesterday’s game against the Bulls while helping his team win yet again. Kobe seems to be quite taken with the Twitter universe, and even talked about his new hobby on Jimmy Kimmel Live (and explains the origin of his #VinoUncorked hashtag), so why not shoot a Tweet and perhaps get a response? Four colorways of the Nike Kobe 8 are releasing tomorrow, so you’d better find at least one to cop. Some have spurned the ‘Year of the Snake’ trio for the classic Grey/Volt colorway, featuring the multi-layered polygonal upper in several tones of grey and a stand-out Volt on the outsole, Swoosh, and heel counter. While not an official ‘Dunkman’ colorway (that’s a LeBron thing), but remember that Kobe participated and won an NBA Dunk Contest! Cop these Dunkman-esque Kobes tomorrow at Nike Basketball retailers.

March 9th is a massive release date for Kobe fans because four pairs (yes, four) different colorways are set to release. We just gave you a reminder of the two Year of the Snake joints, but this court-ready System release is also an official inclusion in that great set of releases, adding a level of sport to the two NSW releases of University Red and Black Python. This weekend will see a handful of ‘Year of the Snake’ styles from Nike hit shelves-the group comprised of the Nike Kobe 8 and the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Of course the former has two separate silhouettes releasing, both picking up the Nike Kobe 8 EXT designation (You’ll recall that the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ also came with that three letter addition). Take a look at the Nike Kobe 8 EXT ‘Year of the Snake’ pairs along with the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year of the Snake’ in better detail right after the jump and watch for them to impact at retailers like NJ’s Sneaker Lounge this Saturday, March 9th. Tomorrow, this Dark Atomic Teal/Electric Yellow-Atomic Yellow colorway officially dubbed ‘Supernatural’ will hit stores, and many Kobe fans have noted that this colorway is indeed the closest thing to ‘Grinch’ that we’ve ever seen. One notable figure regarding this great colorway is that this Kobe 8 is a “+” release, meaning you can elevate your game using Nike Basketball+. If you already have a Sport Pack, it’ll run you $180, but if you’re still unequipped, it’ll be a cool $23o. Get them tomorrow at Nike Basketball retailers and let us know if you think these are indeed the closest thing to ‘Grinch’ we’ve seen.
