nba feet october 29th 2014 NBA Feet: Around The League October 29th, 2014

12 games in a single night can be daunting even for the most fanatical of NBA enthusiasts as it’s going to take some time to get used to the fact that it’s indeed basketball season again. But we’re going to try and get back into the groove of our recurring NBA Feet series after a brief hiatus last year and thankfully, the league’s elite gave us a lot to work with on Day 2 of the 2014-2015 season. Russell Westbrook is currently lone-wolfing it without Kevin Durant in the Air Jordan XX9. LaMarcus Aldridge is celebrating his Jordan signing with an all-retro only diet as he laced up the Air Jordan 11 “Concord”. Kobe got a brand new Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Away” PE, and Tim Hardaway Jr. decided to bring back a T-Mac classic. Be sure to stick around for the first regular season installment of NBA Feet and be sure to let us know who laced up the best selection by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

The Kobe 9 has been a hard shoe to follow in terms of what build Nike will be releasing next. There were the surprising returns of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite in hightop form after the lows ruled summer, and now it looks like the engineered mesh varieties in the Kobe 9 EM are still on the way through late-November. This Kobe 9 EM “Gym Blue” pair looks to be a shoe the whole family can get behind as we get an updated view of a GS size. The California Bears-esque look features all types of blue and yellow speckling throughout and we wouldn’t be surprised to see these on the floor of Oracle Arena at GSW home games. What do you think? Check out more of the latest Nike Kobe 9, this time in a GS aesthetic, and let us know if you’re feeling this pair by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

The high-top Elite versions of the Kobe 9 have been dominated the headlines, but let’s revert back to the lower-priced Kobe 9 EM, seen here in a brand new Gym Blue/Obsidian-Varsity Gold colorway. The mix of royal blue tones and yellow offer up “Warriors” vibes, but it’s likely that a colorway of a rival California team is the concept behind this colorway. The Engineered Mesh upper has no graphics, unlike previous Kobe 9 EM releases from September – the last EMs we saw in stores. These are slated to release on November 21st, so check out a full photo below and stay tuned for the latest on Kobe 9 releases and updates.

The Nike Kobe 9 EM “Dusty Cactus” drops tomorrow, October 3rd, 2014. But don’t pass up on the engineered mesh varieties, as there’s still plenty of life left. The Dusty Cactus aesthetic is definitely an original one, as the teal hue showcases a new tongue logo that pays homage to the Black Mamba’s 5 championships. Stick around after the break for a better look at the latest Nike Kobe 9 EM release and see if you can find a pair early on eBay.

Nike Kobe 9 EM “Dusty Cactus” – Release Date

September 30th, 2014 by | No comments

nike kobe 9 em low dusty cactus rd Nike Kobe 9 EM Dusty Cactus Release Date

The Nike Kobe 9 EM “Dusty Cactus” is headed to retailers this Friday, October 3rd, 2014. The clean Dusty Cactus base might not cut it when compared to the number of pairs we’ve seen don prints and patterns throughout the summer, so the Swoosh is relying strictly on the originality of the hue and a few added features to entice you to start this weekend. For starters, there’s that unique tongue patch that skips over the Kobe shozoku logo in lieu of an interesting championship count reminiscent of vintage boxing posters with a Black Mamba call out. Add in some hints of red on the flyknit and lining and this pair is an unexpected albiet welcomed addition to the Kobe lineage. Check out more images of the latest Kobe release and let us know if you’re feeling this pair by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

The Kobe 9 “Dusty Cactus” launches this week, and yet we’ve still not seen any retailers showing off their stock. It feels like only a matter of time before Nike lets go of their official images on this new Kobe creation, but we’ve got another quick look at them just in case that doesn’t happen before their mid-week launch. The most striking element on this pair has got to be the tongue patch, which has been seen on this pair and nowhere else. Browse some extra images on the Nike Kobe 9 “Dusty Cactus” after the click and tell us in the comments if you’ll be adding these to your collection.
