Seeking revenge for their 2006 loss, the Dallas Mavericks are hell-bent on winning their first ever NBA Championship. Thanks to the clutch shooting of Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki, the Mavericks will return to Miami up 3-2 in the NBA Finals, just one win away from glory. On the footwear side of things, the Miami Heat have been keeping us interesting with their team-oriented colorways, and for Game 5, they went with black-base colorways after going the tonal-red route in Game 4. LeBron James wore the Black/Red PE of the LeBron 8 P.S. and Dwyane Wade wore a Black/Red PE of the Jordan Fly Wade. The Mavs went with a basic White/Blue/Black theme, led by Dirk’s Nike Hyperdunk 2010 PE. It’s going to be an interesting Game 6, which goes back to Miami, so stick with Sneaker News for NBA Feet updates for the rest of the series! via Yahoo!.

‘Even Stevens’ is a term commonly used in soccer, but it applies to the 2011 NBA Finals match-up between the Dallas Maverick and Miami Heat. Each team has proven that they can win on the road and lose at home, so the what remains – essentially a three-game series – will decide the first NBA Champion of the new decade, and Home Court advantage has proven to be somewhat irrelevant. It wasn’t such a hot night for superstars, but in the end, Dirk Nowitzki came through and pushed his team to victory. On the other side, Dwyane Wade had one of his best games of the 2011 Playoffs, but teammate LeBron James couldn’t follow the lead. It was another familiar collection of sneakers for Game 4; LeBron and his LeBron 8 P.S. NBA Finals PE and Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade Finals PE were some highlights, as were Mike Miller’s Zoom KD III iD and Mario Chalmers’ adidas Crazy Light. The Mavs continued to keep their sneaker game simple, with easy white-based colorways matched with Mavericks-specific colors. The Miami Heat headed to Dallas with the series tied one game a piece, suddenly the ‘underdog’ as they squandered Home Court advantage by losing Game 2. You can consider Game 3 a ‘must-win’ for the Heat, and they certainly came through in fashion, sporting a team-unified tonal-red footwear theme. LeBron James wore the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. NBA Finals PE and Wade wore the Jordan Fly Wade NBA Finals PE, but the rest of the Heat sported some eye-catching sneakers as well. Chris Bosh wore a tonal-red Air Max Hyperdunk 2010, Mike Miller wore a Nike Zoom KD III iD, and both Juwan Howard and Mike Bibby wore other PE colorways of the Jordan Fly Wade. Not much change on Dallas’ side, although Dirk did wear a PE colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk 2010. Earlier today Sneaker News showed you Dwyane Wade’s NBA Finals Player Exclusives of the Jordan Fly Wade. Dwyane won’t be the only player sporting a fresh new colorway, because LeBron James will rock this tonal-red LeBron 8 P.S. PE just for the NBA Finals. It features a completely red upper with a white tongue and midsole, a black outsole with a speckled Max Air unit, and a white swoosh with a yellow border. Additional yellow color-blocking can be seen on the outsole as well. Will LeBron and Co. have enough to re-take Home Court advantage and seize a crucial 2-1 lead in the series? There are plans of a release for the LeBron 8 P.S. NBA Finals PE, but quantities will be limited. Be sure to tune into Game 3 of the 2011 NBA Finals tomorrow and be on the lookout for LeBron’s new LeBron 8 P.S. NBA Finals PEs, and stick with Sneaker News for more updates and release info regarding this sweet new colorway!

When your star player – a shooter for that matter – tears a tendon on one of his fingers, you might as well wave the white flag and call it a series, no? The Dallas Mavericks, down 15 with just over 6 minutes of play remaining, stormed back in the fourth quarter with a 20-2 run using timely buckets and ironclad defense. Led by Dirk Nowitzki, who claimed the torn tendon didn’t bother him, scored Dallas’ final nine points; a heady fast break lay-up, a tie-breaking three-pointer with Jordan-esque clutchness, and a lefty lay-up thanks to Chris Bosh’s overzealous defense of the fadeaway sealed the deal and sent the series back to Texas with all the momentum on the Mavericks’ side. For Game 2 not much changed in terms of sneakers; Dirk did his thing with the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and Jason Terry rocked the Zig Slash (and gave ‘em away to a lucky fan after the game). On Miami’s side, LeBron and Wade rocked their respective PEs of the LeBron 8 P.S. and Jordan Fly Wade, and Mike Bibby wore the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse for the second straight game. With the series guaranteed to go at least five games, you know Sneaker News will keep you on top of all of the NBA Feet action, so check out the Game 2 recap after the jump! via Yahoo!.

After losing the opening game of the series, the Miami Heat have been scorching hot and rolling on all cylinders, receiving elite-level contribution from each of the Big Three when needed the most. Wade, LeBron, and Bosh are proving that three superstars can co-exist, because they’re just one win away from an NBA Finals appearance – Miami’s first since winning the title in 2006. LeBron James once again sported the LeBron 8 P.S. Home PE, which features a red midsole and yellow speckling, and Dwyane Wade wore his own Home PE of the Jordan Fly Wade. Mike Miller, who provided some clutch buckets down the stretch, wore the Air Max 360 BB Low in white. Chicago had a chance at victory, but Derrick Rose fell short on two key last-second jumpers as he was guarded heavily by LeBron James. Rose wore the adidas adiRose 1.5 (no Crazy Light?) and Carlos Boozer wore the White/Black/Red PE of the Hyperdunk 2010 with colorblocking reminscent of the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Scarface’ that released half a decade ago. We’ve got a full recap of Game 4 below so take a look and let us know if you think Miami will close it out in Game 5. via Yahoo!.

It was Game 3 action over the past weekend, as both Conference Finals series switched venues to Oklahoma City and Miami. Both series were tied up at 1-1 heading into Game 3, giving two teams to either regain Home Court advantage or steal it away. Starting with the OKC/DAL series, the Mavericks, led once again by Dirk Nowitzki, managed to pull off a Road victory to avenge their Game 2 loss. A look at the kicks showed Kevin Durant wearing the Zoom KD III ‘Scoring Title’ Home PE for a portion of the game, Jason Terry in his Reebok Zig Slash PE, and Shawn Marion in the Air Max Fly By. Moving down South, Chris Bosh poured in 34 points to lead the Big Three to a Game 3 win. LeBron James, who contributed 22 points of his own, wore a PE colorway of the LeBron 8 P.S., which featured a white upper, a red midsole, and a yellow trim. Dwyane Wade wore the Jordan Fly Wade Home PE, Mike Bibby wore a new White/Red version of the Jordan Alpha 3 Percent, and Mike Miller wore the Air Max 360 BB Low. During last night’s post-game interview, LeBron James, for the first time in public, openly apologized for the aftermath of ‘The Decision’, expressing sorrow at the heartbreak while standing firm in his decision to leave Cleveland for Miami. It was a decision much maligned at the time, but it’s clearly paying dividends because LeBron has earned a trip back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2009. Releasing tomorrow are three colorways of the Nike LeBron 8 PS, the third and final evolutionary step of the Nike LeBron 8; the Black/Sport Red colorway, which LBJ has sported in games already, the Varsity Royal, and the controversial ‘Dunkman‘ will all hit Nike Basketball retailers tomorrow, so take a look at these new images below and pick up a pair now on eBay.
