LeBron James’ relationship with the Boys & Girls’ Club of America has been well documented, as his ‘Decision’ special during the Summer of 2010 was made to benefit and raise funds for the national youth-oriented organization that was founded in 1860. The members of the Kendall Boys & Girls Club were already celebrating a revamped outdoor park thanks to a $15,000 donation from the Sprite Spark Parks Project, but the event became even better as Miami Heat superstar LeBron James stopped by to shoot hoops, sign autographs, and to speak on his own childhood experiences and the importance of parks to his youth. LeBron attended the event wearing the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Miami Nights’, a sneaker that recently released exclusively at NikeTown Miami.
