The hot Summer months are just right around the corner – that means the influx of low-top kicks and seasonal colorways is ready and waiting to come out of the floodgates. We’re getting a look at one Summertime concept from Mache Customs as he shows us his latest LeBron remix – the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “LeBreezy” Customs; it’s comprised of a tonal Black upper with a minty green outsole and Solar Red inner lining, combining LeBron and Yeezy for a seamless result. Check out the additional shot below and let us know what you think!

Arguably the greatest coach of all time leading a team rocking arguably this era’s most significant signature sneaker series? Even if the landscape of college basketball has leveled because of trends like one-and-dones, it’s still not exactly fair when you’re going up against a team with all the advantages of a Duke University. The Blue Devils are among the nation’s most polarizing teams because of their unrelentingly consistent success, and they’ll look to regain what they lost last year while wearing, among other models, this Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low PE as shown off by sophomore point guard Tyler Thornton. They look to be idencial to the pair 11-game alum Kyrie Irving showed off at Chris Paul’s charity game early last month; should we take this as a sign that the a Kobe-for-LeBron trade is in the works and Duke will update their look like schools such as Kentucky, Miami and Ohio State? Be sure to stick with Sneaker News for all the latest NCAA basketball sneaker stories in this NBA-less winter, and let us know how you think this Duke LeBron 8 V2 Low compares to the others we’ve seen in recent weeks.

Apparently Nike Basketball isn’t done issuing LeBron James signatures for the Cleveland Cavaliers, after all. We’re not talking about last year’s HWC colorways that equally well match the New York Knicks jerseys as they do the Cavs’ throwbacks or this year’s ‘China’ edition in a similar vein, but rather, this new player exclusive colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low spotted on Cleveland’s #1 draft pick, former Duke guard Kyrie Irving. Irving was playing for the ‘away’ team during a Chris Paul-sponsored charity game in North Carolina; would his ‘Blue Devils’ LeBron 8 V/2 Low instantly become the Dukies’ best PE from this past year? They’ve been the two most significant Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low colorways we’ve seen in the wake of the initial ‘Sprite’ edition, but what if the ‘Solar Red’ and ‘Miami Nights’ were a single pair? That probably has you picturing the latter’s crazy splatter-printed upper with some element from the Solar Reds, but if you were to go for roughly the opposite, you’d end up with something like what’s pictured above. These Solar Red LeBron 8 V/2 Lows add a matching full-length Max Air cushion and outsole for an even redder final product; did Nike Basketball make the right choice in swapping these for the released black bottoms? Click through to see more angles and leave a comment to let us know which design you like best. via FeetsMalone

China exclusive? That was the rumor when these first released out in China, but the shoes later crept up in Korea and in the Philippines. Okay, so maybe these are limited to Asia? Nope. The LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Miami Nights’ was available in stock at Nikestore UK (they’re all gone now), which makes a release in the states a lot more likely. The LeBron 8 V/2 Low has already established itself as the ‘it’ summer sneaker thanks to the sweet Sprite, Solar Red, and Wolf Grey colorways, so a release of the Miami Nights would be perfect cherry on top of the V/2 Low’s successful summer-time run. Stick with Sneaker News for more updates regarding a possible U.S. release and if you’re still mad for a pair, check out the new images courtesy of kicks-lab and cop one now on eBay.

Ever since it dropped, the ‘South Beach’ version of the Nike LeBron 8 has been the most sought after release in this iteration of the LeBron legacy. They are getting a run for their money though in the form of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Miami Nights’, another sneaker that draws its inspiration from James’ recent relocation. The dazzling confetti colored upper on these rivals the South Beaches in terms of flashiness, and the fact that they have yet to drop anywhere stateside makes them extra special. While these were thought to originally be exclusive to China, South Korea’s Hoop City ended up with a gang of pairs and it has been reported that other retailers across Asia will be receiving these soon as well. Follow us after the jump for the release recap of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Miami Nights’ in South Korea courtesy of IST, and considering the chances of these hitting the states is slim, pick up a pair right now on eBay.

Few folks pop up in our Celebrity Feet features more than rapper Wale, the DC representative who has been stacking shoe boxes long before he made a name for himself in hip-hop. And while Wale has been known to show up in Foamposite models long before their release date, he seems to be leaning towards the LeBrons as of late. Last week he was spotted in the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘Christ The King’ PE and he has followed suit at another Heineken Red Star Access event with the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Solar Red’, one of the hotter low tops from the LeBron line this year. Continue reading for a look at Wale rocking these LeBrons, and if you’ve been sleeping on the Solar Reds, quit playing and grab a pair now on eBay.
