NIKE LEBRON 8 The Nike LeBron 8 is the eighth sneaker in the mainline LeBron James lineup for Nike, a silhouette designed by Jason Petrie that arrived at a historical moment in James' career as he left his longtime home with the Cleveland Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat. This decision was famously captured in what is hands down the most sought after colorway of the sneaker, the Nike LeBron 8 'South Beach'.

Denim material is typically reserved for lifestyle shoes (the Air Force 1 Low Premium being a great example). It’s not exactly a breathable material (unless you’re ‘that guy’ who plays ball in Levi’s), but as high-tech a shoe as the LeBron 8 is, it’s worn on the streets as much as it is on the court. Here’s a detailed look at the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Denim’, designed by Nike LeBron connoisseur DJ Clark Kent; it features an unusual blocking on the upper, as only the forefoot Flywire panel is covered in denim. The gum/gold accents are a nice touch as well, adding that rustic, classic-American appeal. Would you cop if these released? Take a look below and let us know what you think of the Denim-uppered LeBron 8. via lilpennymagicfan on ISS.

Just yesterday Sneaker News gave you a look at the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Denim’ sample, which featured a full denim upper with gold contrast stitching. We also learned that this sample was designed by none other than celebrity sneaker aficionado and Nike LeBron sample extraordinaire DJ Clark Kent. Here we have a first look at the entire shoe, and as you can see, the denim material is used on the entire upper except for the rear Flywire panel. The gum outsole gives this classic American fashion inspired LeBron 8 an even more vintage look – almost like the jeans-and-Timbs appeal. Take a look below and let us know if you’d cop these if they ever released! via Air_Andy.

Nike LeBron 8 ’112′

nike lebron 8 112 1 Nike LeBron 8 112

LeBron James’ eighth Nike Basketball signature sneaker will be remembered for its three different versions, with the ‘South Beach’ Nike LeBron 8s among the hottest releases in recent memory, and now here’s an exclamation point on the end that might go down as the quiet king of LeBron VIII colorways.  We already knew that grey, black and neon looks great on LeBrons thanks to the various Dunkman drops and with DJ Clark Kent’s 112 motif takes its turn on the most luxurious of the three designs.  Rich black nubuck, silver reflective 3M, neon on almost all the polymer elements; this is just a sick design, so it’s unfortunate they’ll likely end up a ‘friends & family’ inside deal.  Click through to see more since that’s probably as close as you’ll ever get to a pair, and let us know how the ’112′ LeBron 8s stack up against the other colorways we’ve seen this year.  via Air_Andy/R3TRO

Sneaker customizer MizzeeCustoms has had a successful run of the Nike LeBron 8 customs, but it’s time to hang ‘em up for good and move on to the next series of projects. Or is it? For his next set of custom LeBron 8s, MizzeeCustoms paid tribute to the 2011 NBA Finals by making not one, but two new colorways – one for the Miami Heat and one for the Dallas Mavericks. The Miami custom is a close call to the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. Home PE that LeBron wore; using the Black/Red LeBron 8 V/1 as a base, the Miami version features a white upper with a red midsole and yellow accents on the swoosh border, figure-8 lace eyelet, midsole speckling, and more. The ‘Veteran’s Day‘ colorway was used as the base for the Mavericks edition, which features a tonal navy blue upper with a repainted photo blue tongue, matching laces, and speckling on the Air bag. Continue reading for a detailed look at both the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Grand Finale’ customs after the jump and let us know which of the two you like better.

Nike LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Triple Black’ – New Photos

nike lebron 8 v2 low triple black 1 570x379 Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Triple Black New Photos

We got a look at a similarly blocked pair of LeBron 8 PSes early last month, but in the absence of their sighting during the Playoffs, it appears that there are only two ‘Triple Black’ Nike LeBron signature sneakers this year.  The LeBron 8s that released last December were a big hit in the same colorway, so you know this new Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low will also be a crowd-pleaser.  Featuring a variety of black shades thanks to the upper’s Flywire shell, these have a wider tonal range than your average ‘Blackout’ edition and have gotta be at or near the top of the list for non-white summertime staple looks.  Click through to see more angles, let us know if you plan to grab a pair and stick with Sneaker News for updates including the release date.  via AGS
