What a way to end the first half of the NBA season! We’ve got a lot of NBA in-game sneaker sightings to catch up on, so let’s get to it. Starting off with last night’s much-anticipated match-up between the Knicks and the Heat, LeBron James was seen wearing the Nike LeBron 9 ‘BHM’ with the Black/White Alternate uniforms. In San Antonio, sneakerhead/small forward Kawhi Leonard rocked the White/Black Nike Zoom Rookie LWP after he wore the Air Jordan XIV ‘Chartreuse’ just days ago. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII iD has started to pop up more frequently, with great designs from Demar DeRozan, Nick Young, and Brandon Rush. Houston’s Kevin Martin jumped the gun by unofficially debuting the Air Jordan 2012 in the White/Black colorway (with the Red inner bootie, of course). Check out the rest of the NBA Feet action below and stick with Sneaker News over the All-Star Weekend as we will keep you up to date with all of the action! via ESPN

Recently Sneaker News presented to you the Black History Month collection put forth by Nike Basketball. Of the three signature models is the Nike LeBron 9, which features a Black/Grey upper with a high-detail interior lining and mid-foot stability ‘wing’, and instantly, the shoe drew comparisons to the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Watch The Throne’. Besides the fact that one is attainable and the other is not, both the ‘BHM’ and ‘WTT’ LeBron 9s are in fact very similar, making the Black History Month version a worthy replacement for those who find it necessary to fill the void in the ‘throne’. These are set for an official release on February 11th, but if you want to jump the gun a bit, grab one of the available pairs like this one from hyphyashell on eBay.

For several years now, Nike has honored Black History Month with special sneaker releases, this year’s pack so substantial that it stretched across Nike, Inc. brand lines to include classic Converses and Air Jordans. It remains to be seen if we’ll see another BHM Air Jordan Retro, but the list from Nike’s Basketball and Sportswear divisions is starting to shape up now that we know at least six of the models confirmed for a February release. On the cutting edge, we’ll be seeing the Nike LeBron 9, Zoom Kobe VII and Zoom KD IV in BHM attire — the first time all three of Nike Basketball’s signatures will come together in black and gold. The first BHM LeBrons are joined on the Sportswear side of things by the Air Force 1 Low we’ve come to expect each year, plus the Air Max 1 and Blazer Mid. Let us know which one you’d most like to see in black and gold and stick with Sneaker News for updates including images of each pair and their release dates. via HC.
