Sneakerheads are taking over the NBA! This past weekend was filled with awesome kicks, like DeMar DeRozan’s Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’, Nate Robinson’s Air Jordan VII ‘Hare’, Michael Beasley’s Raptor VII, and Derrick William’s LeBron 9 ‘China’. The newly-branded Jordan athletes whipped out their Retros, with Westbrook rocking the Obsidian XII and Blake wearing Concords on Veterans Day. LeBron wore his Black/Red/White PE of the X while D-Wade wore a blue/red/white PE of his Way of Wade. Keep it locked onto Sneaker News for the most thorough recaps and the crispest images of NBA Feet, because this weekend is just the start of what might be the greatest NBA Feet season in history!

New York Giants superstar Victor Cruz and hosts of BET’s 106 & Park participated in a fun segment on yesterday’s show, as Cruz and Rocsi engaged in a heated ‘salsa’ battle in front of the live audience. As you know, Victor Cruz’s touchdown dance is now a household move, but does Rocsi pull it off better? During the segment, all three wore some heat for the shoe; Cruz broke out the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’, Rocsi danced around in the Air Jordan IV GS ‘Voltage Cherry’, and Terrence J wore the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’. Check out some of the still from the video below and let us know: Who wins the salsa battle, Victor Cruz or Rocsi?

The first Nike LeBron 9 to make a big splash this year was the ‘China’ edition, which dropped first overseas. Also dubbed the ‘Blue Flame’ as well as the ‘Year of the Dragon’ to commemorate 2012′s Year of the Dragon on the Chinese Zodiac, the LeBron 9 China accentuated a number of design details for the new sneaker, like the ‘Wing’ on the midfoot that features the neat graphic, the two toned upper that separated the Flywire/Hyperfuse shell and the weave panel, and the Max Air/Zoom Air cushioning, which was dotted with neat speckling. Sneaker News gave early confirmation of the U.S. release of the ‘China’, and tomorrow it will certainly be available at select Nike Basketball retailers, like Nikestore. Are these a must-have in your budding LeBron 9 stash? Check out the images below and don’t hesitate to cop a pair right now from washihuang on eBay.

Jason Petrie recently showed you a first look at the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Kentucky’, but let’s be real – it looks like an awesome Air Penny colorway. Royal Blue, Black, and White is as much Air Penny as you can get, just like anything Blue/Orange represents the New York Knicks (albeit unintentional). This year’s LeBron ‘China’ colorway featured just that – a New York-specific colorway with two tones of blue on the upper and orange detailing. Thusly, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ was the perfect way to roll out ninth installment of the LeBron saga, and after a initial release overseas, the China 9s could hit the states as well. Don’t want to wait around? Cop a pair now from id4shoes on eBay.

That Kyrie Irving is the only Cavalier with a Nike LeBron PE means there will be no more ‘HWC’ colorways from Cleveland’s prodigal son, but thankfully, Nike Basketball has recognized that this shouldn’t keep sneakerheads from getting the ever sick blue/orange combo on a pair of LBJs. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ breaks from the traditional white/red/gold look for a colorway so good, they make David Stern’s plan to expand the league into addiitonal continents seem somewhat sensible. These might turn out to be harder to get than courtside Knicks tickets, though, espeically the special edition packages that only released alongside nine pairs (72 total) at each retail location when the ‘China’ LeBron 9s released over the weekend. Does the slideout drawer and intricate flame graphics make this the best box we’ve ever seen for one of LeBron James’ Nikes? Click through to see the entire package in close-up detail and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the U.S. release date, and get a pair of the LeBron 9 Chinas now on eBay.

Releasing tomorrow in Asia is the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ – the first released ‘Blue/Orange’ colorway of a Nike LeBron signature sneakers since the Nike Zoom LeBron IV ‘Birthday’. What makes the Blue/Orange so special (or painful, to some)? It reminds Cleveland fans of the ‘Hardwood Classic‘ colorways that LeBron used to wear during those special throwback nights in Cleveland, and it also reminds New York Knick fans about LeBron spurning the Big Apple to hit up South Beach (not to worry, the Knicks have their own Big Three and are ready to throw down). In any case, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ contains all of the detailed aspects we expect a special edition shoe to see; limited edition packaging (only 9 available), detailed graphics, and Chinese lettering on the heel, which translates to ‘fire’. If you don’t want to wait for a state-side release and don’t have a DeLorean handy, cop a pair now from kicks_hnd on eBay.
