Oh what could have been for the Nike LeBron 9 Elite. Sure we can’t complain too much, after all the sneaker did get a few more colorways than its Elite brethren, but it’s hard not to look at the likes of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite ‘Dunkman’ and wish that you would have had the possibility to cop at retail. The pair gets even more energetic than any previous ones sporting that theme, dipping the upper in a volt look to give them a radioactive feel. The LeBron 9 finished off with a major bang as we were revealed a collection of unreleased colorways on the $250 Elite build of the model. While the book on the LeBron 9 has yet to be entirely closed (there’s still hope for those holding out on a release of these Elite samples or even the ‘What The LeBron’), Nike is well-entrenched in the iconic LeBron X ‘Diamond’ story, so this just might be your only option to cop a LeBron 9 Elite sample. Remember when LeBron James recently let go a photo of that incredible set of unreleased Nike LeBron 9 Elite colorways? The majority of them had an easy correlation as far standard Nike LeBron 9 versions, with the one dubbed by King James as ‘Tennis Ball’ being the odd man out in that regard. As it turns out the pair was actually a volt colored, even higher energy interpretation of the ‘Dunkman’ theme, as evidenced by this new shot of the sneaker showing that logo on the tongue.
