The DJ Clark Kent-designed Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘War Vet’ is a pair that not too many folks have as they never made it to retail. It should come as no surprise though that King James himself does indeed have at least one of the camo colored pairs in his rotation. As it turns out the camo colored Nike LeBron 9 Low has a bit of a story behind it, one whipped up by the illustrious DJ Clark Kent. The camouflage look is meant to signify LeBron going to war, battling it out for that elusive championship for so many years, and in 2012 finally succeeding in his campaign. Just how many unreleased Nike LeBron 9 colorways are waiting in the wings? You’d think there wouldn’t be too many leftover given that we’re already well into the Nike LeBron X but that doesn’t appear to be the case, with the Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Camo’ showing up as the latest of that ilk. The sneaker features a pretty dark set of olives, greys, and blacks as far as the colors go, slapping a classic gum sole on the bottom. Are you a little disappointed that patterned pairs like this and the ‘LeBronold Palmer’ didn’t hit retail? The LeBron 9 still isn’t ready to ride off into the sunset as we get a first look at a sick ‘Camo’ colorway of the LeBron 9 Low. It features a darkened camouflage print upper with what appears to be a similar pattern on the inner lining. It was just last week that we showed you detailed photos of the ‘LeBronold Palmer’ PE of the LeBron 9 Low, so it’s only a matter of time before these surface onto brighter lights. We’ll keep you posted when we get a better look at them, so check out the full shot next to the Championship PE and the aforementioned Arnold Palmer joints and let us know what you think. Update: Just received word that this colorway was designed by DJ Clark Kent.
