Celebrity Feet: Wale Nike LeBron 9 Flamingo Customs

One of the realest sneakerhead celebs hooks up with one of the realest in sneaker customs in this Celebrity Feet feature – Wale in the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Flamingo’ by Mache Customs. Wale’s got a reputation for wearing Nikes that aren’t due out in months (or at all), but this time he connects with Mache for one of his best custom creations, which features the LeBron 9 transformed into the confetti-splattered ‘Flamingo’ that we first saw with the LeBron 8 V/2 Low. Are these customs hotter than the released version, or perhaps the Mid sample that Jason Petrie gave us a peek at?

Nike LeBron 9 Galaxy Customs By C2

These days, the ‘Galaxy’ detailing is what separates the contenders from the pretenders in the custom sneaker market. These right here? Contenders. Created by the sneaker custom wizard C2 Customs, this Nike LeBron 9 ‘Galaxy’ captures the outer-space theme with the awe-inspiring graphic, using the Nike iD-exclusive ‘Foam’ upper panel to create an alien-like life-form similar similar to the original Air Flightposite. The black secondary base provides the depth and uncharted nature of outer space, while hints of glow-in-the-dark specks on the upper and LeBron crown logo gives these that signature touch seen in all the other Nike Basketball ‘Galaxy’ releases. Attached with these customs is a laser-etched wooden box – you already know C2 comes through with the full custom sneaker experience! We’ve got a detailed gallery for you to go ga-ga over so take a look and partake in the auction slugfest right now from the newly opened c2_customs on eBay.

Nike LeBron 9 iD Xmas Flip

A Christmas colorway is an annual tradition for LeBron James’ Nike Basketball signature series and this year’s made an even bigger splash than normal because of the NBA’s Opening Day being pushed back until its holiday TV showcase.  A snow-speckled Nike LeBron 9 ‘Christmas’ spoiled Dallas’ banner raising ceremony, but given how out of shape Dirk was at that point, it’s the LeBron 9 iD pictured above that turns out the more visually appealing rematch.  Isaac Jiminez‘ ‘Christmas Flip’ LeBron 9 iD switches the red and green distribution from the released version for a much more tree-like appearance; would you like to see something like this from the Christmas Day LeBron 10?  Let us know how these compare to the last three years’ red designs and stick with Sneaker News for all the latest Nike LeBron sneakers.

Nike LeBron 9 South BeeGums Customs By Mache

Mache Customs is at it again, taking the South Beach colorway head on by seamlessly welding it together with another Miami-born concept. Using the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 as the base, Mache adds the dynamic two-hit combo of an emerald green tone with the super-bright hot pink to complete the South Beach look, but leaves the shoe with a two-dimensional delivery by letting Freegums’ artwork pop from the interior lining. Better than the Nike LeBron 9 Elite ‘South Beach’? Check out the detailed angles after the jump and if you want  your own ‘South BeeGums’ Customs, you can buy ‘em directly from Mache Customs’ online shop.

Nike LeBron 9 Fairfax Home

Now that Fairfax Senior High School is done with theirs for the season, might we see LeBron James himself don a pair of these Nike LeBron 9 PEs?  King James rocked the Lions’ away player exclusive during a game in LA earlier this month, and while his Miami Heat won’t play another game west of Oklahoma City during the regular season, this red and yellow-accented white base would be just as solid a home option at American Airlines Arena as they were on Melrose Ave.  Click through to see more angles of this rare colorup and let us know which is your favorite ‘unreleased’ LeBron 9 colorway.  via TheHeatCheck

Nike LeBron 9 Hornets New Photos

Yes this upcoming Nike LeBron 9 colorway has a ‘Hornets’ affiliation, but despite the thorough mixture of purple and blue there’s no NOLA connection to be made here. The Hornets in question are instead the Summit Lake Hornets, a formative youth squad for LeBron in his early years. Do you still have room in your rotation for more high energy Nike LeBron 9 releases like this, or are you ready to move on to the lows? Let us know in the comments below and if you’re in the former camp be sure to make your calender for next weekend’s March 31st release of the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Hornets’ at fine spots like Mr R. Sports. via ITSB
