The second night of Opening Games for the 2012-13 NBA Season went down last night, but it could it be up to par of Tuesday night’s showcase of Gold LeBron X PEs, Pink Foamposites, and Ray’s XVI? You tell us. Starting off, we saw the Metallic Red Foams on the feet of Lamar Odom as well as J.J. Hickson, while Kobe rocked a PE/iD colorway of the Zoom Kobe VII. Nate Robinson wore three (yes, THREE) different Air Jordan Retros, Demar DeRozan whipped out the Air Jordan IV ‘Black Cat’, and Jared Jeffries (not pictured), wore the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’. There’s plenty more to see, so check out a recap of last night’s game and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more NBA Feet coverage!

The Nike LeBron line has done a pretty good job steering clear of too many Air Jordan tributes, determined to carve out its own lane of classics rather than rest on the laurels of His Airness. That hasn’t stopped custom creators from dreaming up crossovers though, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Bordeaux’ pictured above being the latest of those. Just like its inspiration, the pair keep things pretty plain on the upper, letting the tongue do the talking (no pun intended) with that beloved jagged pattern of colors. Click through with us to check out the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Bordeaux’ and let us know in the comments how you’d feel about this sort of release at retail.

LeBron 9s continue to get heavy rotation in the custom sneaker circles as we get yet another magnificent product from one of more notable names in the custom circuit. Done by GourmetKickz, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Invictus’ is actually a spin-off of a previous custom he’s done, which was inspired by poem during his pledging days with the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Using the LeBron 9 ‘Black History Month’ as a base, GourmetKickz brings forth the tribal print to the outer weave panels and creates a yin-yang approach with the alternate color-blocking (blue on the left, gold on the right). A detailed gallery awaits you, so take a look and get your custom ‘Invictus’ LeBrons straight from the source here.
