Rarest Nike LeBron 9 out there? Yeah the ‘Championship Pack’ was nearly impossible to get your hands on but at least those released to the public. The ‘Watch the Throne’ is pretty high up as well but frankly we’ve seen more pairs of those than we have of these, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘What the LeBron’ that comes as an intersection of a multitude of colorways previously released for the sneaker. These crispy new shots are the first to give a good idea of the design at multiple angles, with perhaps the coolest detail being the luxurious print hitting on the outsole shank plate as borrowed from the aforementioned WTT release. Click through to check out the ‘What the LeBron’ Nike LeBron 9 and stick with Sneaker News to find out whether or not these will actually end up releasing.

LeBron James slayed the biggest dragon of his career by winning his first NBA Championship in the Nike LeBron 9. Now this model destined to be forever connected with arguably the greatest individual season we’ve seen since Michael Jordan, expands its scale and adds its tremendous momentum to the fight against breast cancer. In the first photos we’ve seen since just after the conclusion of this year’s Finals, the ‘Think Pink’ LeBron 9 shows off its ribbon-embroidered tongue and monochromatic pink build. The grey elements on these along with a milky translucent sole adds some balance to an otherwise explosive design that you might see on a WNBA star like Swin Cash or Diana Taurasi as we approach the Playoffs. Let us know what you think after you’ve seen this new round of photos below and stick with Sneaker News to see if the Think Pink LeBron 9s ever make it to retail.

There have been so many wildly energetic LeBron 9 colorways this year (releases and PEs made in-house as well as custom creations designed independently) that the line that separates the two sides is becoming a bit blurred. The LeBron 9 ‘What The LeBron’ is a perfect example of a shoe that could very much be a custom design, as it features a hodgepodge of LeBron 9 installments ranging from China to the outer Galaxy, so is this PE/sample just a case of Nike beating someone else to the punch? With the Kobe VII given the ‘What The…’ treatment earlier this year, we’re certain that the adept customizers flirted with the idea of the ‘What The LeBron’, but give Nike credit for going with it and creating what could be yet another LeBron 9 masterpiece (assuming this shoe does release somewhere down the road). That doesn’t appear likely as the LeBron X is set for a worldwide release very soon, but check out the new images below and let us know if you’d like to see these release.

For many sneakerheads the whole ‘What the LeBron’ thing at the moment might actually refer to the guessing game going on with respect to the new Nike LeBron X colorways getting rolled out on the regular, with folks doing their best to pin down the various inspirations for the known colorways. LeBron James is definitely feeling some of that international love (but is it on that Kobe level) as he’s currently on tour in China to meet and greet his fans on the other side of the globe while beginning the launch of the Nike LeBron X. During his stay, LeBron was absolutely enamored by a special gift given to him by one of his fans out in China – a pair of Nike LeBron 9 iDs specially selected for the King; it features a Heat-filled mix with a yellow/black upper with red accents on the outsole, interior lining, and Swoosh. LeBron’s definitely appreciative of the gesture, but think you can make a better iD? Check out the images below and let us know if you can come up with a better design.

Remember how after the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ hit it spawned a million custom creations adopting the starry look? Well we just might see the same thing happen with the way more exclusive Nike Air Foamposite One ‘ParaNorman’, with creator SmoothTip firing off the first shot in the form of this remixed Nike LeBron 9 now known as the ‘ParaDunkman’. The colorway is one that lends itself well too the gooey green and black look inspired by that animated film, but that’s not to say Smooth didn’t put in some work-with the smokey look creeping up from the bottom half of the shoe and both the Swoosh and Dunkman icon getting upgraded with the glow in the dark look. Check out the full shots we’ve got lined up after the jump and let us know what you think of the Nike LeBron 9 ‘ParaNorman’ custom in the comments.

For a good number of the colorways that hit on Nike Basketball’s big trio of signature silos it was often a pack ordeal, from the Christmas to the All-Star Game to Easter, wherein the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, Nike Zoom KDIV, and the Nike LeBron 9 were all outfitted with variations on a similar theme. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘What the Kobe’ wasn’t one such release but according to this pair that almost wasn’t the case. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘What the LeBron’ appears to be a Nike sample that never made it past that stage, the mashup including the likes of the ‘Watch the Throne’ on the laces the ‘Swingman’ on the side weave and many more sprinkled about. Click through for the full shot and let us know what you think of the Nike LeBron 9 ‘What the LeBron’.
