Is there another ring ceremony in the works for LeBron James? It sorta seems that way, as the Miami Heat are definitely one of the stronger squads left standing in the 2013 NBA Playoffs. LeBron James won his first NBA Championship last year and opened this season shaking hands with David Stern at his coronation. The King wore a ‘Ring Ceremony’ Nike LeBron X PE back in October to start the defense of his title, and we haven’t seen it since. This gold, white and red exclusive features ‘Earned Not Given’ graphics on the footbed, gold speckling throughout the sole area and tribute text on the medial icon insets. LeBron James’ trip to his first ring will officially be complete tonight, with the 2012-13 NBA season tipping off via the Heat/Celtics match, one which well be preceded by the ring ceremony in celebration of the Heat’s new title. Looks as if James will be wearing some special sneakers to celebrate, kicking off the season with this Gold/Red Nike LeBron X ‘Champ’ PE. The pair uses a golden champagne upper to celebrate the gold Championship Rings, while the White/Red trim represents the color of the Heat’s uniforms when they clinched the title back in June. The heel logos call out LeBron’s ‘Champ’ and ‘MVP’ status on the back badges.
