It’s do or die time for LeBron James and the Miami Heat, who will face two win-or-go-home situations this week as the 2013 NBA Finals return to Miami. That means that this game tonight may be the final presentation for the Nike LeBron X Elite before we move onto the Nike LeBron XI later this year, so which will he wear? The three colorways you see here comprise LeBron’s NBA Finals selections thus far, and it’s more than likely that you’ll see one of the three here unless Nike’s got a special PE for him in this elimination game. It took a few games for LeBron to do so, but he finally brought out a new PE colorway of the Nike LeBron X Elite during last night’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The colorway is a simple yet powerful Black and Gold combination, exuding that “Elite” notion that Nike Basketball first alluded to when it unveiled the Elite Series in the Summer of 2012. It turned out to be a boon of sorts because LeBron and Co. came together for a win and evened up the series at two a piece. With the NBA Finals now a best-of-three affair, will Miami have what it takes to repeat, or will Duncan and the Spurs continue this trend of winning on odd-numbered games? Sneaker releases on Saturdays are pretty much a wrap not long after the 8 AM online checkout battles, but Sneaker Lounge in New Jersey is offering up to its local patrons another shot to cop the Camo Foams, low-top Air Jordan XIs, Crimson Elite LeBrons, and Viotech Dunks (pretty much all the other hot June 8th, 2013 sneaker releases) later tonight. Beginning at 8PM, Sneaker Lounge (Westwood, NJ location) will release all of today’s best releases on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a mystery Air Jordan restocks also being available. Definitely something to check out if you’re in the area, so check out their flyer and full list of releases below and don’t miss out!

June 8th won’t be quite as busy as the first Saturday of the month in terms of sneaker releases, but it will be a pretty packed day nonetheless. There are two Air Jordan XI Low styles on their way, one being that brand new black and white and the other being a reprisal of the fan favorite snakeskin look. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Camo” will at last hit shelves as will the surprise return of the Nike Dunk Low “Viotech”. On top of that there’s a scattering of Air Jordan XX8 releases as well as the first wave of pairs for the Saint Alfred x Asics Gel Lyte III pair (Look for a global release next week). In the event that LeBron James and the Miami Heat fall short of another title this year, could this be the final Nike LeBron X Elite pair to release? There are no others in sight-his line looks be dominated by the likes of casual, off-court stuff for the Summer instead. Of course we’re not saying that Game 1 loss was a death knell per se, but it definitely has shown once again that that squad is beatable. It looks like the 2013 NBA Finals is going to be quite the series, with King James and his squad appearing pretty evenly matched against the Spurs. For his first night in the Finals this year (One that ended in a loss) Bron broke out another new player exclusive of his Nike LeBron X Elite sneakers. The colorway goes heavy on the red, almost coming off as a much darker interpretation of the upcoming “Total Crimson” look. Are we looking at the last Nike LeBron X Elite colorway that will hit stores? There haven’t been any other confirmed for release, so it’s certainly a possibility. But then again LeBron’s chances of grabbing another chip this year are looking pretty decent, and we couldn’t imagine Nike Basketball letting the opportunity to drop another championship-celebrating shoe fly by.
