After we safely survived the Mayan Apocalypse on the 21st, the world will be celebrating the end of 2012 this Monday as party-goers worldwide unite for one final bash of the year. Of course, Nike Basketball’s got something cooked up for you – the Nike LeBron X “Prism”; wrapped in a basic Black/Strata Grey colorway, the ‘Prism’ gets its name for the multi-colored geometric pattern adorning the inner lining and chiseled midsole. Many of our readers have deemed this the best LeBron X thus far, with some suggesting that the Prism be a “+” release as the jeweled swoosh and lace-lock would be pristine additions to this colorway. Regardless, these are definitely a must-have, and with shops like CNCPTS beginning to get these in stock, take a look at the new images below and let us know if this year-end LeBron is the best of the bunch.

What better way to ring in the new year with a sick LeBron X pick-up? These Prism joints, recently confirmed for a release date of December 31st, truly accentuate that ‘diamond’ motif of the X, taking a multi-colored polygonal graphic on the interior lining, tongue label, and on the chiseled foxing piece above the midsole. Some of our readers have noted that a few minor changes, like a speckled midsole and/or a translucent outsole would give these even more pop, but they’re bangers as it is! Check out these new photos that have been swimming around the IG wire and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on the Nike LeBron X ‘Prism’.

Hold a prism such as a diamond into the light and it will refract a rainbow of colors. That physical phenomenon appears to be the inspiration behind this latest creative colorway of the Nike LeBron X as the interior lining as well as the chiseled diamond mudguard is designed in a multi-colored polygonal composition. The diamond prism logo on the heel displays the different wavelengths of light that are emanated from the stone with the black/grey base colorway providing a nice back-drop to this enticing colorway. These appear to be a GS size, so let’s hope that an adult-size release becomes available; of course, keep it tuned to Sneaker News for all your LeBron X updates.
