Mache Customs has been a dominant force in the sneaker customs scene, but this time around, he extends a generous hand for a great cause – one that has had a direct effect on his personal life. In an effort to raise awareness of Pediatric Stroke Awareness month (in May), he created this incredible Nike LeBron X custom, using a silver Nike iD base and laced with deep purple ribbon graphics and the “Kandu” mascot – the official mascot for Pediatric Stroke survivors. Additional details include some personal messages, with “I Believe In A Pediatric Stroke Survivor” and “I Believe in JJ” proudly displayed on the inner sides of the ankle collars; Jayden, or “JJ”, is Mache’s son (now three years old) who suffered a pediatric stroke at birth. This is a great cause and a honorable effort to promote awareness for this widespread issue, so check out the photos below and get your bids in right now from the live auction from mlomas2295 on eBay.

The first Nike LeBron X EXT model to release, the “Cork”, was one that skirted typical basketball materials in favor of a texture totally foreign to that world. The upcoming Nike LeBron X EXT in black and mint doesn’t quite do that, instead opting to put on some more old-school materials with its nubuck look. Yep, there was a period when nubuck was actually used on hooping sneakers instead of all this fancy Fuse and Engineered Mesh. Continue reading for a preview of the Nike LeBron X EXT “Black/Mint” and then check out the price on this early pair from prc.kicks on eBay.

The release of the Nike LeBron X EXT footwear has been postponed indefinitely, with NSW head Gentry Humphrey noting a drop date in a “couple of months”. In any case, a few pairs have been floating around on eBay, and today we get a pretty nice on-feet look of the Denim/Pink version that we hope will drop early on during the Fall 2013 season. Thus far, Nike Sportswear hasn’t missed with a colorway with the EXTs, with the Americana combo of the Denim and Brown leather being paired with a rebellious pink on the midsole and Dynamic Flywire. A few more on-feet shots exists below so give them a review and let us know if these are a must-have for you.

The connection between Superhero and Spiderman runs rampant in this latest custom work by JP Custom Kicks, who combines the Nike LeBron X and the Amazing Spiderman in this latest concept. While the colorway of Red, Blue, and Black isn’t something new, JP Custom Kicks puts an emphasis on Spiderman’s abilities to shoot sticky spiderwebs, with the white laces representing the webs and the details on the heel mimicking Spiderman’s hand motions when applying his web-spinning technique. We’ve got a gallery of photos for you below so take a look and let us know what you think of this Superhero-inspired custom!

The Nike LeBron X has definitely flirted with the comic book world-just this past weekend the pair went all “Superhero” on us via the Elite collection. This time around the custom scene is responsible for the pair’s cartoony colorway. Creator Twizz whipped up this, a Nike LeBron X GS “Pow” version that gets its graphics from those action words that so often show up in the pages of your favorite comic books. Stay with us after the jump to see more on this playful “Pow” remix of the Nike LeBron X and tell us in the comments if you think they’re up to par with the retail stuff the line’s been coming with.

Yesterday Sneaker News gave you a first look at yet another high-end EXT build of the Nike LeBron X in a sick Black/Mint colorway. The touch of mint gave the shoes a bit of class while touching on that laid-back Miami vibe, but the black nubuck and the tan leather lining gave these an intense premium feel – just like we’ve seen with all the other seamless nubuck-built Nike LeBron X EXT colorway. A release hasn’t been set just yet, but we hope that these are due up in the future because these are looking mighty incredible! Check out the gallery below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for all the updates you’ll need on this particular shoe and any other Nike LeBron X release.

EXT models, Elites, Elite iDs…being on top of the LeBron game is an expensive hobby! Luckily, the Nike LeBron X EXT releases have been postponed indefinitely, but we’re still getting a look at some new colorways, like this Black Nubuck version that showed you earlier. Paired with a cool mint on the Zoom bag and Dynamic Flywire, this Black/Mint colorway definitely has that high-end look thanks to the “Tiffany”-esque approach that we often move in whenever we see colorways similar to this! Check out the photos below because these may never even release, and join in on the bidding action from authentickicks310 on eBay.
