dragonzord lebron x custom Nike Lebron X Dragonzord by DeJesus Customs

You can file this custom pair into “licensing deals that would never happen”. The pair picks up a look inspired by the Dragonzord of Power Rangers fame, a giant mechanical beast that was controlled at various times by the likes of fan-favorite Rangers like Tommy and Jason (Sorry Billy, you’re gonna have to sit this one out). The result is a green based colorway that puts on some panels made to imitate the metallic sheen of its inspiration. lebron china sneakers Chamber of Fear to Terracotta Warrior: The History of Nike LeBron China Editions

LeBron James emerged as a phenom in Akron as a nationally-recognized player for St. Vincent – St. Mary. He became a superstar in Cleveland, winning MVPs and Gold Medals with the Cavaliers. In Miami, he became a Champion, leading the Heat to two straight. LeBron James’ rise to legend-status can be tracked by specific regions, but here in the U.S., we often forget LeBron’s meteoric rise to fame in China, where the basketball crazed country has made the world’s best ballers like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant into god-like beings. LeBron James definitely belongs in that club, and over the last decade, Nike has taken a concerted effort in bringing a special treat to a country boasting the largest population in the world.

red wine suede lebron x ext zadeh kicks Nike LeBron X EXT Red Wine Suede Customs by Zadeh Kicks

The Nike LeBron X “Red Suede” was one of the weirder sample pairs to hit from LeBron’s line this year. The sneakers had the look of an EXT release but were actually of the standard, Nike+ persuasion. Shown here is an interesting take on the model, a custom done by one Zadeh Kicks that brings a deep red wine suede look onto the EXT build of the sneaker. The shoes also bring in a bit more black than the aforementioned sample, further differentiating themselves from anything we’ve seen from the Nike LeBron X. Get more on the creation after the jump and let us know in the comments whether they beat out the red suede sample.
