You already know how dope a trail shoe can be with the Lunar look thanks to the Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay, so hopefully you aren’t sleeping on its brethren the Nike Lunar Elite Trail. This model has a similar approach as the MacLeay, but gives the upper some more flexibility to allow for a proper runner. These two new colorways which should be hitting soon both utilize some heavy coloring on the foam sole to match with the side Swoosh and the lining. Beyond that the looks stick to a darker set up in line with what you’d expect from a trail shoe. Check out both after the jump and snag a pair from Kicks Crew now in advance of their US release date.

Preview images of the Fall 2011 Nike Lunar Elite Trail colorways have been coming since April, and now we finally have our first solo look at the black and Max Orange edition. A model that’ll make Oklahoma City Thunder fans wish their home terrain was a bit less flat, these Lunar Elite Trails really show how vibrant their accent hits are in these new photos. Nike’s successful Lunar technology has permeated all categories of Nike performance footwear, beginning with running and spreading to basketball and even outdoor activity. The Nike Lunar Elite Trail Mid, which debuted last year, was a trail-ready high-top form of the Nike Lunar Elite running shoe, constructed with rugged materials like weather-proof canvas, suede, nylon, and mesh materials, and just missed the cut for the Sneaker News Top 30 Sneakers of 2010. These two new colorways of the Nike Lunar Elite Trail builds on the already popular catalog of great releases; one in Silver, Orange, and Obsidian as well as a Black, Orange, and Blue colorway will hit stores later this year.
