Is that a little bit of a South Beach color combination on the sole kit for these Nike Lunar Force 1s? The application of teal and pink has caused plenty of moaning and groaning about overuse before, but maybe folks will be a little bit more receptive to the treatment here as we’ve moved pretty far away from the peak of “South Beach” mania, not to mention the approach is reasonably subtle this time around. See what else this Nike Air Force 1 creation has to offer by checking below and be sure to let us know how you feel about them in the comments.

The Nike Lunar Force 1 High Sneakerboot will release on September 13th, 2014. Remember the whole Air Force 1 Duckboot movement from a year ago? The Air Force 1 High has always made an easy transition into boot form, but this calendar year the Swoosh is focussing on the Lunarlon cushioning to help lighten up the sturdy lifestyle model. This time around we get to see that coveted Wheat colorway and an ominous black, each aided by the Air Jordan 3′s elephant print on the side panels. Check out a better look at each colorway after the click and know that you can grab your pair this Saturday from select spots like Sneaker Politics.

Cue the Wheat invasion. We can’t get our hopes up for a LeBron 1 “Wheat” redux, but we will be getting that Timberland boot inspiration in a number of Swoosh models this fall, from the highly anticipated Foamposite, October’s Nike Air Trainer SC High, and now this Nike Lunar Force 1 Sneakerboot. The pair takes the most literall approach to referencing the Timberland movement considering the Sneakerboot silhouette, but we also get a nice textured elephant print throughout. Check out more images after the click and know that this pair will release September 13th from spots like Oneness.

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 “Iridescent Pearl Collection”

August 25th, 2014 by | 10 comments

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Iridescent Pearl Collection

The wedge sneaker continues to be a viable option for any lady sneakerhead as it adds the extra boost in the heel yet retains the sneaker silhouette for a casual look. One of the more popular rendition of the category has been the Nike Lunar Force 1 Sky Hi thanks to the comfort of a lunarlon midsole while the Air Force 1 upper stands the test of time for a classic aesthetic. The latest release features that iridescent sheen that’s been so popular with the ladies as an all silver foil upper contrasts the icy outsole. The sneaker will release as a member of the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 “Iridescent Pearl Collection” alongside a more traditional Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Hi featuring a similar shiny base. As always, we have some more photos for you after the click and know that each pair will be available Friday, September 12th, 2014 at 8 AM EDT.

Nike Lunar Force 1 Low – Light Magnet Grey – Hyper Jade

nike lunar force 1 low magnet grey hyper jade 01 Nike Lunar Force 1 Low Light Magnet Grey Hyper Jade

Swoosh traditionalists shouldn’t fear that the Nike Lunar Force 1 Low could usurp the original model, as we’ve seen plenty of the Air Force 1 Low throughout the warmer months, but one can’t deny the fact that the Lunar Force variety is gaining momentum. Sure, when the likes of a teal (in this circumstance Hyper Jade) and a pink come together atop a Swoosh model, the first instinct is to jump at a South Beach call-out. But with LeBron taking up residence in Cleveland again, we’ll probably need a new name unless Nike decides to permanently archive the aesthetic. That doesn’t look to be the case here as a Light Magnet Grey serves as a base and that faint cracked-cement print arrives on the midsole. What do you think? Continue on for a better view.

The Nike Lunar Force 1 Low “World Basketball Festival” will be releasing tomorrow. The good news is that you don’t have to be out in Chicago participating in the events or even camped out on your computer to pick up a pair, as it appears that boutique NSW accounts across the country will have them in stock. The shoes of course go extra literal on the whole basketball theme with that tacky leather that decorates the upper. Get a refresher on this Nike Air Force 1 style by checking in below and remember that Social Status is one of the accounts that will have them come tomorrow.
