Among this Saturday’s sneaker releases are three Nike Lunar Force 1s with suede uppers that add reflective Swoosh/heel tabs done with a crocodile texture.  With gold and turquoise counterparts, this black pair is the most conservative application of the style.  It’s got that classic Oakland Raiders look, and will come to life when you see the croc parts flash with light in the right conditions.  You can see how they look in the daytime in more photos below, and be ready this weekend when they arrive at Nike Sportswear stores like Oneness.

Nike Lunar Force 1 Reflect – Gold Suede – Reflective Silver

About a week ago, Sneaker News showed you an upcoming Nike Lunar Force 1 Low pack that applies reflective crocodile texture Swooshes to monotone suede uppers. Included among them is this Gold Suede edition, whose primary color name perfectly reflects both the shade and material in use on this Lunar Force 1′s upper. These stand out from their packmates which all have translucent outsoles, because the golden shade on this pair ends up in the popular gum zone. Let us know how these compare to the other upcoming styles once you’ve seen them up close below, then pre-order yours in advance of the October shipment (the official release date is actually September 28th) from Titolo.

fragment lunar force 1 releasing Fragment Design x Nike Lunar Force 1 Releasing at 21 Mercer

The Fragment Design x Nike Lunar Force 1 will release tomorrow, September 7th, at 21 Mercer. The pair is a reprise of sorts of the HTM “Croc” Nike Air Force 1 pairs of old that Hiroshi Fujiwara also chipped in on. As far as we can tell it’s only the Lunar version that will be at that Nike Sportswear spot tomorrow, but we wouldn’t be terribly surprised if the classically tooled one showed up as well. Continue reading to get another look at the Fragment Design x Nike Lunar Force 1 pair that’s on its way tomorrow and then tell us whether or not you’ll be tracking them down.

Nike Lunar Force 1 City Pack – Arriving at Retailers

Three global cities, three Nike Lunar Force 1s, one dope pack.  That’s the idea here with Nike Sportswear’s latest tribute to the world’s most prominent metro areas.  These Lunar Force 1s are varied in their presentation, with the Shanghai edition standing out thanks to its ornate upper pattern and the ‘Luwan Never Gone’ theme in tribute to one of the city’s fashion hot spots.  The Paris midtop edition is the one of the three with a gradient midsole, and it also places a fleur-de-lis logo at the toe, whereas the NYC highs keep their Big Apple insignia in a more traditional spot at the heel.  All three of these are coming up soon and you can see more shots below while we wait for them to hit shelves at NSW shops like Sneaker Lounge.

Recently Hiroshi Fujiwara teased an upcoming Air Force 1 project featuring the signature fragment design logo etched onto the heel of a croc-skin upper. Sound familiar? It should, because a similar collaborative result hit stores about a decade ago. Nike Sportswear is revisiting this early HTM partnership (H of HTM would be Hiroshi) with the Fragment Pack, which consists of the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Nike Lunar Force 1 Low. Both are slated to drop this weekend exclusively in Shanghai so check out the gallery below and stay tuned for updated release info at other regions.

The shoe’s slogan is ‘Luwon Never Gone’, but one thing that is in fact long gone is the likelihood that you’ll ever get a pair of ACU x Nike Lunar Force 1 ‘Shanghais’.  This Lunar Force 1 City Pack Quickstrike shouts out JUICE’s Shanghai predecessor, the first store in China to offer Nike Tier-0 and other exclusive sneakers.  A mere 50 pairs were made as part of the ’Ignite Shanghai’ initiative and most of those went out to friends and family, which makes this an extremely limited entry in the young LF1 saga.  Check out some new images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for all the latest international release info.
