Nike Basketball’s Lunar Hypergamer showed such promise when it came out of nowhere last fall with camouflage colorways riding the coattails of those camo Zoom Kobe VIs. But unlike the next Kobe Bryant sig, these haven’t enjoyed all that much attention in 2012 outside of a couple new lowtop releases. This new Nike Lunar Hyergamer Low might prove to be a sign of good things to come, its eye-catching Concord and Hot Punch combo just the kind of thing you need to dominate the ‘necks broken’ category in your local summer league. Check these out in greater detail below and grab yours from Kicks-crew.

How about some roses for tomorrow’s big holiday? Here’s a look at the Nike Lunar Hypergamer Low in a special PE colorway for the Rose Classic – the premier female student athlete basketball competition based out of Brooklyn, NY. Although the name ‘rose’ may evoke passion and affection, these girls are some of the fiercest competitors around, showcasing the nation’s top talent and serving as a springboard to future success in the sport. This special PE of the Lunar Hypergamer Low features an attractive turquoise/hot red colorway with dotted lace, a speckled midsole, and a translucent outsole, making way for a great Rose Classic graphic on the undercarriage as well as on the interior lining. These are set for a House of Hoops-exclusive release on April 5th, so take a look at the detailed gallery below and let us know what you think of the colorway. Images via F5torefresh

If you spot a new shoe coming out of Nike’s basketball divisions these days, chances are it will be sporting at least a bit of Hyperfuse material. This unique, layered construction technique is the wave of the future according to the boys in Beaverton, so we knew that models like the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 weren’t the last of the Hyper-line that we’d be seeing. The recently revealed Nike Lunar Hypergamer combines the lightweight construction with LunarLon soles, another of Nike’s patented technologies that barely tips the scales weight-wise. While we are still waiting for the Nike Lunar Hypergamer to officially hit shelves, we have some catalog scans here that feature and advanced look at the low version set to release next year. Take a full look at the collection after the jump and stick with us for info on the Nike Lunar Hypergamer Low. via CK
