A few colorways dropped this summer, but the LunarLon plus Hyperfuse (plus Nike+) upgrade has been lost in the mix since the Air Safari’s 25th anniversary kicked into full gear. But we haven’t seen the last of the Nike Lunar Safari Fuse+, and this latest pair has the slightest nod to another 1987-born legend with just a hint of OG blue Air Max 1 against a grey base. The original Air Safari set a warm tone that was approximated in our recent look at the black, grey and Bright Crimson Nike Lunar Safari Fuse+, but here’s a new colorway that gets eve closer to that iconic OG vibe. These Lunar Safaris are similar to that crimson pair as well as the Dynamic Blue joints we showed you in early June, but a Total Orange LunarLon sole along with Natural Grey Safari print makes these one update without which the entire collection would have suffered. It seems pretty much inevitable these days that no matter how long a particular trainer has been stuck in the vault it’s destined to be trotted back out for a modern day makeover. Both the Hyperfuse and Lunar approach have been popular choices for such makeovers, with the two technologies converging on 2012′s all new Nike Lunar Safari Fuse+.
