nike lunar history 01 Nike Inside Access: The Story of Lunarlon

Do you remember when Nike Lunar technology was first introduced nearly a decade ago? The cushioning system, an innovation from the minds of Nike designers Kevin Hoffer and Eric Avar, was originally crafted for marathon runners who were in need of a platform that would last the 40,000 steps they took in a run while maintaining a spring for their step. This new Violet Force and Bright Citrus ladies LunarGlide 4 reminds us there’s still a ton of gas in the tank on this one (and hopefully more EXT styles into the future).
