Nike Manor Premium NSW Fresh Mint + Khaki

Naming a lifestyle designed by a John McEnroe signature a word that rhymes with ‘manners’ is about as ironic as seeing a Shaq shoe with a ‘slim’ tag or theming an Air Jordan release after lost championships: something of a contradiction in terms. But then again, the Nike Manor Premium echoes the extent to which someone around when The Mac Attack debuted might see dressy sneakers as an oxymoron. Its name both a pun and a reference to its regal build, the Manor has just touched down in two tonal suede and leather mixes that offer your choice of Fresh Mint or Khaki. Both colors are sufficiently versatile that they’re effectively neutral when it comes to assembling an outfit; which one will you grab from Nike Sportswear retailers like SNS?

Nike Manor Khaki

The translation of a 1980s performance athletic shoe into a modern day casual design is nothing we haven’t seen before, but how ironic is it that a shoe based on a classic signature for the most notoriously argumentative tennis player in history, sees its name a homophonic resonance with a word that denotes polite social behavior.  So even if John McEnroe wasn’t well mannered on the court during the days when he rocked models like the Air Trainer 1 and the Mac Attack that gives its lines to the new Nike Manor, this latest lifestyle drop from Nike Sportswear shows that you can indeed be serious and rock the Swoosh all at the same time.  It doesn’t get much better than the tonal Khaki leather and nubuck build on this pair, so have a closer look and keep an eye out for these at NSW retailers soon.  via Sneaker Freaker

Nike Manor Hazelnut

From each season’s Nike Sportswear sneaker releases emerge a series of trends, and from early 2012, we’ve seen quite a bit of simple elegance all around.  The Air Force 1 has come off in a fairly huge range of white and/or black looks and a variety of other models are going for the upscale look with premium builds, but few can match the ‘clean’ appeal of the new Nike Manor.  This new lifestyle release takes its lines from 1986′s The Mac Attack, a shoe to which John MacEnroe lent his name, and the one he wore before the Air Trainer 1 was introduced the following year.  Makes you think that an AT1-inspired casual look might be interesting as well, and if it’s coming out for spring, they could try the Hazelnut brown look we’ve seen replicated on a few different silos so far.  Check out this new ‘Hazelnut’ Manor after the jump and let us know where they rank in the ever expanding lifestyle sneaker market.  via Sneaker Freaker

Nike Manor Cargo Khaki Rogue Green Sail

The Nike Manor? Is that where Phil Knight sits maniacally atop a vast pile of sneakers, surveying his endless empire in the hills of Beaverton? Well no, not exactly, it’s actually the newest addition to Nike’s lifestyle range, an almost logo-less sneaker that we’ve seen exclusively in tonal colorways so far. This earthy looking pair falls on the darker end of the spectrum, standing in stark contrast to the minty fresh look that we saw a few weeks back. Follow us after the jump to get a better feel for this brown out Nike Manor, which can be had now from id4shoes on eBay.

Nike Manor Fresh Mint
Nike Sportswear’s stable of lifestyle silhouettes is aiming more and more for the toned down look, with models like the Nike Aina Chukka really trimming the fat as far as branding goes. The upcoming Nike Manor takes it a step further, as the nearly Swooshless sneaker leaves only the tongue with any marking of its origin. The clean design gets a boost here from this minty colorway, with the singular fresh tone dominating the upper.
