The Nike SB P-Rod 8 has a fade attached to the upper in every retail release that we’ve seen so far. That’s not a requisite though – just check out this new black/metallic gold version of the shoes. The gold treatment is pretty sparse, as only the Swoosh and the front/back branding pick up on that regal tone. Find the profile shot of this new Nike Lunar skate shoe with us after the break and watch for these to hit Nikestore and select SB accounts today.

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Citadel LR

The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Citadel LR doesn’t look anything like the Nike SB P-Rod Citadel that came before it. We’re still not exactly sure what the Citadel designation is supposed to convey, especially given that we’ve seen two shoes bearing that name that are so disparate in design. The sneakers definitely appear to be more of a lifestyle take on Rodriguez’s latest, with suede replacing the upper’s technical look. See them in this photo blue colorway below and find a pair at Size? now before they’re all gone (You can also see another colorway at Nikestore).

After debuting in two colorways this past weekend, the Nike SB P-Rod 8 is wasting no time getting familiar with the Nike SB audience with a brand new release that appeared on the online retailer today. While a past release went the neutral route as well, this simplistic, bare bones approach truly showcases all the new features in Paul Rodriguez’s¬†eighth¬†signature skate shoe in a wolf grey, pure platinum and white/black aesthetic. The Lunarlon base gets an all white treatment as a black lining and tongue contrast to the pure platinum to wolf grey gradient on the Nike Hyperscreen+ and Flywire covered upper. The Nike SB P-Rod 8 is set to make its debut this weekend in two different colorways. One of them is that black/blue that is presumably tied up into the model’s Air Jordan 1 heritage, with the other one apparently being this much more neutral grey and green pair. The two colors fading into each other are a little bit closer from the get go, so that element isn’t as striking this time around. Continue reading for the full preview and then tell us in the comments if you’ll be grabbing this new Nike SB sig this weekend.
