Nike Roshe Run NM “Great Britain” + “Brazil” – Release Date

April 2nd, 2014 by | 7 comments

nike roshe run britain brazil release date Nike Roshe Run NM Great Britain + Brazil Release Date

The Nike Roshe Run “Great Britain” and the Nike Roshe Run “Brazil” will both release on April 5th, 2014. These two editions for the beloved zen design are actually of the NM persuasion, which means that the outsole allows for a little bit more flex than your standard Roshe Run design. We’re wary about immediately designated any flag-bearing sneaker as a World Cup one, but given the football fan status of the two countries in question we would say it’s not too big of a stretch this time around. See these two new Nike Roshe Runs below and tell us in the comments which of them you’re after.

Nike Roshe Run NM “Military Blue”

nike roshe run nm military blue 01 570x425 Nike Roshe Run NM Military Blue

We’ve been waiting over a month for new Nike Roshe Run NMs, and now, a new one has arrived. This ‘Military Blue’ Roshe Run Natural Motion has a bit of a New York feel to it thanks to the orange accents that connect with the city’s flag and a couple of its major pro sports teams. It would be kind of poetic to follow the ‘UK’ edition with a Yankees pair (particularly with MLB Opening Day right around the corner) but of course this NY colorway is more of a Mets/Knicks style. Click in to get a better view, then cop your ‘Military Blue’ Roshe Run NMs from NikeStore.

Nike Roshe Run White Label “Britain”

nike roshe run white label britain 01 Nike Roshe Run White Label Britain

Nike’s Tech Fleece material has proven so popular that not only are the garments selling out, the soft cottony stuff has also made its way onto footwear.  The Nike Roshe Run White label is the first example, a Roshe Run NM with fleece on the upper as well as a reinforced toe that includes midsole colorblocking not yet seen on any other Natural Motion Roshes.  This ‘Great Britain’ edition is mostly grey with red, white and blue accents, including the Union Jack flag on the tongue loop, and goes further into uncharted territory by adding an unprecedented heel logo in the pre-italic style of the OG Blazers.  Click in to see more shots and stick with Sneaker News for the latest because this Quickstrike is already gone at Prime Online.

roshe nm available Nike Roshe Run Natural Motion Available

We’re almost at the two-year point with the Nike Roshe Run, and already we’ve gotten more variations on the popular minimalist silhouette than you could probably name. The latest version is perhaps even more zen’d-out in the sense that it’s built to conform to your foot’s innate structure, as the Nike Roshe Run NM combines the most popular casual sneaker in the world with a Free-like Natural Motion sole. These switch up the upper materials a little as well and secure the front of the saddle with a rubberized Hyperfuse weld, and the lacing is substantially different as well, so you’ll want to take a closer look after the jump, then cop yours at NSW retailers like Premier.

nike roshe run natural motion great britain Nike Roshe Run NM Great Britain

Is the Roshe Run doing the country pack thing? We’ve seen the sneakers go with a city to city theme previously, but this is the first indication that upcoming releases might zoom out a bit in their scope. Shown is the Nike Roshe Run NM “Great Britain” – that moniker being derived from the Union Jack logo that shoes up on the tongue of the shoes. As far as we can tell that’s the only patriotic bit, but it’s certainly possible that the soles have a little bit of that flavor as well. Get with us after the break for the full angles and stay tuned for word on the retail arrival of this new Nike Roshe Run style.

Can you keep track of all the Roshe Run versions that are out there? That’s becoming an increasingly difficult task thanks to Nike Sportswear’s constant revamping of the model. Next up in that realm of the Nike Roshe Run NM or “Natural Motion” which tweaks the sole kit a little bit to allow for some more flexibility. Coming out of the gate for the model are a handful of singly blocked colorways that recall the initial simplicity of the Roshe range. See them after the break and stick with Sneaker News to find out when they’ll be in the US.

nike roshe run free sole Nike Roshe Run NM

Its rectangular traction lugs led some to believe the Nike Roshe Run‘s sole was inspired by Nike Free.  Here we see arguably the single most popular new release of the past two years taking on a barefoot grooved base for the first time, as the Nike Roshe Run NM makes its debut appearance with the namesake Natural Motion setup.  These Roshe Run NMs use a welded forefoot seam like the Hyperfuse Roshes but opt for something more closely approximating original mesh on the rest of the upper.  Let us know what you think about the latest iteration of Nike Sportswear’s unstoppable casual lowtop, and as always, stick with Sneaker News for US release info.
