nike sportswear sunset pack 01 570x400 Nike Sportswear Sunset Pack

Remember that GPX pattern that accompanied the first few releases of the Nike Roshe Run Slip-On for this Spring/Summer? Well it looks like the pattern is back as a part of Nike Sportswear’s new Sunset Pack. And even though the colors adorning this five shoe collection tred more along the lines of a rainbow-esque theme, the pattern definitely does each silhouette justice. Staring with a forest green Air Max 1 that alternates between royal blues and yellow, the pack also includes an Air Max 90, the Nike Roshe Run HYP and Slip-On in yellow and atomic mango respectively and ends with the freshly minted Nike Free OG ’14 in a fresh blue. Which pair is your favorite? Get with us after the jump for a better look at the latest NSW collection and stay tuned for more information by heading over to our Release Dates page.

There’s the Nike Air Max 90 Breathe, the Nike Roshe Run Slip On, and the Nike Air Max Motion, with the first two from the group sort of conveying a desire to make the shoes on the airy side to fight the summer temperatures. After seeing a few pairs in a GPX style graphic-laden upper, the Nike Roshe Run Slip-On is going back to the basics where it started off nearly two summers ago with a monochromatic upper. The latest version uses military blue on the laceless silhouette while accents of turbo green hit the heel. The Nike Roshe Run cemented itself as one of the most surprising sneaker releases when it hit retail shelves in 2012 in terms of what you got for the price point. The Nike Roshe Run has sort of been getting back to basics lately with the Slip-On version, which returns to the simpler days of the Roshe line. What’s interesting is that there have been some sort of parallel colorways releasing as of late that seem to echo that original set of Roshes that debuted in 2012 – there’s been a straight black and white and now there’s this “Laser Crimson”, which is probably the closest thing you’ll get to the original “Sport Red”. The Nike Roshe Run sneaker has somehow gotten even more simple. This new iteration rips the laces off the body and replaces them with more space for the standard mesh body and a little button on the tongue area. Granted not all of the Nike Roshe Run Slip-On pairs have stuck with the whole minimalism vibe – the sneaker is only a couple of months old and has already gone pretty deep with the graphic pairs. See this black/white in better detail after the break and pick your pair up today from Oneness.
